Good idea that, riding a bike in only a suit and tie. Hope you like the idea of skin ripping from the bone. Anyway, that aside I really want this bike(scooter)! I currently own a 125 FES Pantheon and it the best scooter I've ever ridden. It's rock solid and very reliable! But thats Honda for you. I'm now looking to upgrade to something with a bit more go in it.
honda has the "best back seat passenger support". yamaha and suzuki don't offer much good back support for the passenger. the passenger seat of yamaha and suzuki is totally straight without the hump to support the passenger from getting push back. the hump is helpful for long distance touring and comfort .
He's right they are a sweet ride. My grandparents didn't want theirs anymore and dropped it off with us, it's a 2001 model but I didn't check the number. Anyways, I'd never driven any type of motorcycle or scooter in my life before (just bicycles), but I took it for a spin today and it's GREAT. Lots of fun, I'm not licensed for it so just drove circles around my neighborhood and stayed off the highway, so only topped out at around 30mph, but it was VERY comfortable and surprisingly quiet.
I have a 2006 600. These are a sweet ride. I've tried a cruiser, sport/cruiser, tourer (Goldwing) and this bike rides as good as anything. These are not as stable as a Goldwing at high speeds, but smooth, powerful and easily maneuvered. The Silverwing is my wife's bike, but she has vertigo and I ride it now.
I want one of these because I do a lot of in-city driving. It would save on gas, but factor in the cost of insurance, a loan, etc... it really would be a burden more than anything else.

A friend of mine recently got a used, but well-cared-for 600. He loves it; he says it's like riding on a recliner with an engine.
He also says it purrs like a well-lubed kitten, but we knew he had some issues already.

@5518278 the difference is that the 400 goes 80 mph and 70 mpg while the 600 goes 120 mph, averages 43 mpg.

I like the old design, from the 80's. These are cute scooters, but those were great bikes!
