Is it possible to change keys so the trackers would get thrown off? Worst case is to delete it? Try it with a few tunes you can always delete the test.
@KudzuRunner My guitarist and I used to perform "Life by the Drop" back in 2001-2003. Much lesser known, and we swung it a bit more than SRV did, worked out extremely well. I think we played it in either A or D. Texas Flood was another good one to hit.
Adam, it's great to see that you"re still with us. i was worried that your last lesson was really going to be your last video and that would have been tragic.
Adam! Thanks you so much man! This made my day! Once again thanks so much for playing on the album. You absolutely made that song come to life. Much respect man!
I'd totally forgotten that. Thanks. I don't have that album, but I've heard it once or twice. Excellent point. Well, I did NOT do my solo based on whatever Butterfield does in his version!
Your solo is unique and blasting on your own terms for sure, Adam, marked by your note choices and sweetly crisp phrases. Butterfield's solo , I think, is further proof of the genius that was his; I studied that solo for years and is , actually, a template for my style. I love that run you did in the first chorus, from six draw down, a breathtaking run in tribute to Butter.
One of my favorites. Thats actually the only version of walkin through the park I think I've heard. It was one of the first songs I taught myself too since I only had a C at the time
Interesting talk about how a studio session works. I'm interested in all that since I have a home studio myself.
And the "Song-sniffing" software that YouTube is using...didn't realise that. So you could in effect be playing your own harmonica solo on here to show us stuff. YouTube software would recognise it, even if the CD is not playing, and give you a slap on your fingers for copyright violation....a bit weird in a way.
When you do these videos it can't hurt and if anything will spur more sells of the music. Your continued sharing is very appreciated and comes from that teacher who I feels practices what you believe in a passionate way. Thanks for enlarging my world.
Hey Adam... cool video! I watched the whole thing. Will and I really appreciate your contribution to his debut CD. You were a treat to work with.

I like the way you play harp, because you have so "quicksilver" type of personality, and your playing reflects that :D
