  • whats the best mod that is not multivoltage and what atomizer/cartomizer to use with it? money being no limit. im not new to vaping but i just want to but the best mod that delivers the best amount of vapor without having to worry about what setting the thing is on.. so PLEASE inform me of what you think is the best setup on the market today

  • @mamanf99 .... maybe something like the SilverBullet? or possibly the Omega or Bombshell? vari volt is really where vaping is going right now

  • @mamanf99 I would say just go with multivoltage. I have found the ProVari to be the best (for me) super awesome and you can find what volt works for you best. Also everyone should own a SilverBullet.

  • Grimm where did you get that shirt?

  • @whodey365 I got it from Adam (MostAngyPirate) at Vapercon this last year

  • too funny grimm great vid but you were so funny when tooting at 6v lol

  • have to say i use a dual coil atty and i use the dual coil carto in my puff daddy tank and love them both but best thing that happend this year was a random came up to me when i had my black mantis mod and black dual coil atty on it with ruby red ming drip tip and he said looks like a darth vader lightsaber lmao tho he was wasted at the time so i nick named my mantis mod the vader now lol

  • yeah its kinda weird. I have a 3.5ohm one measuring out to 3 ohms and it works...okay. It works but its kinda different as in you need to figure out how much juice to put in it and play with the levels due to the two coils being on top of each other. It works pretty solidly on my 6v prodigy, but is a bit more difficult to see "where its at." I basically just started vaping it so maybe it needs a bit of time to "break in" or something. literally first full day of vaping

  • ive only had them leak by overfilling them. it did the same thing you described, only it was still in my hands and got Boba's Bounty all over my shit.

  • hey grimm! i know this out of the subject...but whats the best cartomizer you've ever used. I've tried a few but the flavour wasn't there and I didn't get much throat hit.

thanks! i enjoy watching you videos! very informative. keep it up sir!

  • @grimmgreen to be honest, I won it on vape tv so I couldn't tell you! I'll check with Bruce in Chicago :)

  • awesome idea, great video. thanks for all the great info. gotta try one of these. for 11 bucks you cant beat it. you're the man grimm!!! YOU KILL IT!

  • Duel coil carts at Mad Vapes for under 3 bucks

  • hey Grimm, just got one in the mail today and ive gotta say, im really liking these. They perform like a really good LR atty. About how long after you got it did it start leaking?

  • @AltDoodle mmmmm bout a week If i remember correctly

  • I got one of these from Bruce and rock it on my Big Kazoo... Works awesome... I guess 6v is a lot different than 5v...?

  • @P2theJ85 what OHM was your atty? he has them up to 3.0ohms which would work rad at 5v, the 1.5ohm I have does not

  • Yo Grimm I need help, I've asked people this before but I didn't really get a clear answer. I'm a 6v vaper and I've always used the BOGE cartos. Am I stuck in the dinosaur age? Is there a newer better carto or tank I should be using for my 6 volt pleasure? Please help me join you guys in the future.

  • @thefinder808 Nope, I still use bouge cartoz at 6v , why fiddle with something that works? My newest 6v love is the clear, shorty, dual coil cartomizers , the 1.5ohm version kicks serious ass at 6v

  • @GrimmGreen Ahhh interesting, where do you get those shorty dual coils?

  • @thefinder808 hoosierecigsuply (dot) com

  • i love that shirt.

  • Yet another great review Nick. This is an interesting design in that it has 2 circuits. When I first saw these I was concerned that if one went out the whole atty died. As usual I always learn something from your reviews. Thanks and keep up the great vids

  • @MrSteelMage Yeah i'm interested to see that myself, I keep getting tempted to just dry burn it until one pops... just because i'm curious ha ha

  • whats the PV you're using at 3:50?

  • @Bthemann16 oh, that's the battery of the T-GO kit , it's like the ego-t , bu with a 901 battery connection, I have been using it with my 901 atomizers, hits like a champ

  • Great vid as always. The faces u make when u get that burnt taste is classic. U don't even have to say anything and I know it was bad.

  • @MrCavemanMike oh man... it was bad ha ha

  • You're still only vaping at 3.7v at 9 watts on the lavatube as because its a dual coil. Try it on the Buzz Pro at 4.2 volts or the darwin at 11.7 watts

  • @rickholmes68 is that still true if the coils are not vertical on the same circut? because i'll tell ya , I had this up to 4v on my LavaTube and it SHREDDED my throat

  • @GrimmGreen Their physical position in the atty doesn't matter its how they're wired. All dual coil atomisers are wired in parallel with the 2 coils side by side in the circuit. This gives the atomiser a resistance of 1.5 ohms with two 3 ohm coils as the current can flow through both at once. If they were wired in series (one after another) this would double the resistance of the atomiser to 6 ohm and only result in 4 watts going across the coils at 5 volts which would be a pretty paltry vape.

  • 10 bux for a "meh" atomizer? I'll pass, lol!

  • Another Great Review Nick* Very Helpful and Informative!

  • Grimm, how do you breathe in through your mouth and exhale through your nose at the same time?

  • @mmmben Practice

  • @mmmben pool the smoke into your mouth using ur cheeks while exhaling through your nose

  • Not awesome at 5v? Lmao. Goofy.

  • @amandamaher truly awulf Amanda... truly awful

  • Madd vapes has at 3 bucks each.

  • @cassel53 Atomizers or Cartomizers ?

  • Thanx for the video, Grimm. If those find their way over to my side of the puddle, I will give them a try.

  • Thx a lot for this great review. Let me add a few more things: First: Try these attys with your reo. You will be impressed. There is no leaking, no gurgeling, just fantastic flavour and great vapor. There is no need to drip directly onto the coil.

Second: Every dc atty comes with its own drip tip. They are not really good, but in shops you have to pay up to three bucks for this little plastic thing.

Third: I bought my dc attys at vapourworld.co.uk much cheaper (1.1 up to 3.2 Ω).

  • @Fipppes my DC atty didn't come with a drip tip :(

  • @GrimmGreen Another reason to try the vaporworld-ones :o) PS: I hope you still own a reo?

  • Glad to see your still enjoying the Honeysuckle tobacco! Makes me smile to see people using my e-liquid! Great vid Griim, can't wait for the next one!

  • @SNjVaper good juice is good bro lol

  • great as always!

  • @1969halo thanks dude!

  • Good vid they got dual h-coils out now 2 p.s I got that art glass drip tip in stop by my channel and check it out

  • How's the lavatube treating you? I'm still wanting one so i hope good lol

  • @oklahomarocker80 pretty nice, It's frustrating not being able to use a DC Carto at over 5v though

  • Toss this on a regulated device, and you'll be rocking. Mine is getting pushed w/ The Kick from Evolv, and it really shines.

  • @basilray how the shit did you get a kick! *jealous face*

  • Fuckin a! Let's try this out... Nope not awesome not awesome at all.... Lmao that had me rolling green. Great vids as always

  • @grizly116 ha ha ha , i just do what I do , thanks

  • Not really a fair to compare 3.7v on a single coil 1.5 resistance and dual coil 1.5. The current is 2.46 on the single and 1.23 each on the dual, to match the heat per coil you would have to do 7.3-7.4 for the dual coil. 6v the current would be 2 for each coil so technically you're taking it easier on those coils and at higher volts.

  • @hbeezey though these coils aren't in line on the same circuit like the cartomizers are , In the video I hit it with 6volts and it burned beyond repair

  • @GrimmGreen well they should be wired in parallel just like DC cartomizers. If not and they are wired in series, that would double the voltage instead of the AH. They should set the ceramic pots side by side instead of stacking them on top of each other, that burning is most likely the insulation on the wires which looks pretty suspect. On carto's i've disassembled with the green coating, they were pretty melty.

  • honeysuckle tobacco. great vape. enough said.

  • who has the honeysuckle tobacco nick? i forgot..btw..is it a good tob vape?

  • @Jerodspc1 eminentvapor sells it , it's a sweet SWEET tobacco vape

  • @Jerodspc1 Blue mist vaping has honeysuckle tobacco also. Its not great, but its ok

  • @Jerodspc1 Long story short, I produce the orginal Honeysuckle tobacco e-liquid (EminentVapor). The same liquid that is in this vid and grim's review in march at Philly Vapefest. Blue Mist attempted to reproduce mine, but from what my customers have told me its nothing like mine, and not that good.

  • @SNjVaper yea i had a 10ml 16mg bottle of the bluemist honeysuckle tob its a good vape but nowhere near the quality of yours. the difference in taste is the bluemist is more syrupy, tasting more of honey where eminent vapors honeysuckle tob is lighter less sweet more floral not syrupy and all around just a much better all day vape :) props on the best ejuice I've had to date..

  • who has the honeysuckle tobacco nick? i forgot

  • maybe im just a cheapscate but 10 bucks wtf , reg attys ( LR,HV,or Bridgeless) i pay 4.50 or a pk of 5 dual coil for 10 bucks i better get a happy ending with these guys for 10 bucks lol , still u give it to the people like always & let them decide thanks for the vid .....willie

  • Great vid Nick! Yeah Bruce gave me one to try at Vapefest and it does vape really well @ 3.7v..and love the shirt bro!!lol..ur request on the back of my suv should be done this weekend..ill post it..once again, great vid bro!!!

  • @vapingmonkey COOL! thanks CJ

  • yet another great, informative review! respect grimm!

  • @D3PR057 thank you very much

  • with 2 freshly charged rcr123a they should charge up and top at closer to 7v....and yes they work!!!!

  • ok i have been using the dual coil attomizer for well over a month now,...i have used cov's and madvapes primarilly. i am running 6v, 2.0ohms and it takes well more then 12 dropps to start it....more like 1/4 of a bottle(10ml) size...i also run a tank with all my 2.0 duals and they seriously hit like champs for a long time before needing any attention....

grimm your the man i love your vids and say get that voltage up to 6v add a tank and go....but with the right tank setup it shouldnt girggle

  • MORE POWEH!!! You need to get those 1.21 Gigawatts batteries and those quadruple coil low resistance 999.999 +1 ohm atties. Then you would be vaping :P.

  • @DeviantDigi HA HA HA HA , you crazy

  • @GrimmGreen I'll show you crazy! *pulls out the vapezilla*

  • Hey Nick, I couldn't reply to you on your last video, re: dual coil cartos at high voltage. The SmokTech Dual coil 2.5 ohm cartos from MyVaporStore work really well all the way up to 6 volts on my provari, no error message. :) And as always, great video.

  • @dbutman331 oh that's good to know, thanks so much

  • "Doilcoilness." That's the first time in human history that word has ever been said. Hahaha

  • @dbutman331 gonna trademark that shit

  • That was very funny Nick! When I saw the title I thought "awesome", and then you hit 6.2 volts and I had to show my wife. Excellent vid man!

  • @Danielsuzuki1k ha ha , it was bad.... really not good

  • Great review, I use a drip shield whenever I use a 510, or 901 atomizer, the drip shield is one of the Best ecig vaping accessories ever created for drippers. I would think by having bottom dual coils you would get more vapor, and be hotter but after watching your demo of comparison with a single coil I guess not. Maybe the higher ohm ones work a little different, looking forward to seeing a review of them. Vape On, Smokie

  • @Smokie901 Yeah Smokie I can't seem to get enough drip shields, very much a must have. Thanks for stopping by

  • hey man not too sure about the ohmage thing , the higher the ohmage the higger the voltage ?

yet another cool video , always very informative :D

  • @HanzoTh3Razor traditionally yes, higher ohm, higher voltage.... except... with dual coil CARTOMIZERS you can rock a 1.5ohm at 5v , sometimes 6v

  • @GrimmGreen thanks for the quick reply man i appreciate it a lot , i been vaping only two weeks and making a shit load of mistakes hahaha

so if i have a ego with a 510 connection a low resistance will work great and simulate something close to 5v vaping ?

gonna try it all till i find whats right for me , thanks again :D

  • Thanks Grimm.

  • @asz420 my pleasure

  • 4:47 that has to go in the best grimm moments of 2011
