Strange how this takes the same gag; fighting over the restaurant bill turns to gun stand off, as the contemporary Sketch Show but are really written completely different. One is very pun based, ultra-unrealistic, and the other is this straight dialouge in an unusual circumstance. Someone should upload them back to back

Exactly - this sketch is in fact taking the piss out of the somewhat middle class tradition of arguing over who pays the bill. It's British comedy at its best; it relates to everyday life but as you say, it takes the satire to a whole new level by adding a sort of surrealist element. Genius.

I own 5 handguns, and 2 rifles. we have really dangerous criminals here that will not hesitatge to kill, or worst. many americans are armed. the states have different requirements to own ,and carry a gun, but most have you take a safety course, and a criminal background check. convicted fellons cannot own guns.
