  • Really nice tone and playing. Would have much rather watched your fingers for five and a half minutes than a static shot of an effects unit.. :-)

  • @sonicbombHD I bet you say that to all the guys big boy

  • sounds good, what the guitar and amp? great tone

  • i got mine yesterday and used it live with my Fender Deluxe Reverb and Strat(Both real 65s) and boys and girls:IT SOUNDS AMAZING!!!

  • wish you put the echo volume louder!

  • The first time I heard one of these used live was THE RAISINS in Cincinnati. The guitarist Rob Fetters has gone on to play with Adrian Belew and THE BEARS, as well as a solo recording and producing career. This effect was part of the early Fetters sound.

    Nice demo!

    Nice demo!

  • @TimothyLeeH The first time I heard one of these was recording my cousins bowel movements and I've since gone on to help people with constipation all over thew world. What can I say? Shit happens.

  • yes yes i rather enjoyed that. the vintage devices are around for a very good reason: despite the age and maintainance they still sound good. tastey fret work too. i almost forgot to listen to the swell device

  • WoW that sounds amazing.

  • @sheetsofsound What's the noise levels like (i mean digital delas are usually pretty noiseless)? Noise has really been bothering me as of late.. didn't used to bother me since i use singlecoils and no shielding etc.. but i guess the humming has gotten to me :-/

  • goood sound. i am getting one of these today!you convinced me!

  • @sheetsofsound Except the ORIGINAL EP-2. ;)

  • Man, great chops, great tone, great demo. You sold me on the TTE.

  • Is this and a Maestro echoplex pretty close in tone and quality.

  • These sound great. When are they going to release the solid state version? I tried to contact them but had no luck. Any info would be helpful.

  • Help! Can anyone tell me which Led Zeppelin songs use a Echoplex (ie. tape echo)???

  • beautiful tone, this is well worth the price!

  • hows this sound on a snare drum?

  • @44eelz Technically yes. Analogue non-tape delays use BBD chips which has digital time mapping.

Analogue non-tape delays sound great aswell, but tape has a bit of a "lo-fi" warble to it that's very nice if you're into that sort of thing :)

  • Sounds just amazing. Lush and slightly modulated. the beautiful tape sound. Some people just do not understand...

  • excellent guitar playing dude.. nice tone too

  • nice playing... this echo is best when playing it yourself.. tapes have a magic thing going that analog nor digital can reproduce

  • one question.. does the T.T.E is alway on? there is a switch to turn it off??

  • @rockboy8812 yes there is a bypass switch

  • Amen brother

  • Awesome! I think I'd even prefer it to a vintage Echoplex!

  • Amazing guitar player and I love the echoplex.......

  • sounds great man,,what agreat echo,,,

    Too cool for school

  • same with tubes if you think about it. 1200 is steep... but its just utterly beautiful

  • what was the width of the tape you bought off ebay? 1" or 2" for example? Did you piece the bits of tape with sellotape? I just wondered how you made it work and put it together!

  • Hi,

Nice playing and chops . You are using a ultimate attenuator on here right? I swear as stupid as this sounds I can hear it . I also use a ho and sounds very similar to what it does to my signal. I dont mean it in a bad way. I could be totally wrong about it being in the rig. Thanks

  • space echo just as good and more options and cost less

  • @grimisstacks no it not and you stupid

  • yes it is and learn how to talk moron

  • the pedal is not very impressive as such .... its the guitarist thats making it sound so good ...... good jazz stuff with the cheapest of echo pedals would also sound the same .... definitely not worth $1200 .... i'd rather buy a damage control timeline for 400 along with the tech 21 boost R.v.B. and be more than happy ! .

  • It's actually very good. Check out the video from katarzis27 which is in the related videos. And check out the Pro Guitar Shop smackdown between one of these and the Empress modified delay, which is one of the best ones out there. The Empress sounds great, but when you hear against a real tape, the differences are definitely clear, and the real tape wins.

  • wow.

  • Nice playing, love the jazzy stuff.

  • What kind of amp are you running through?

  • this delay is the best out there but for me the main problem is not the price is that you have to buy new tapes in some period of time so this unit is much more expensive than it seems

  • what's the fuzz tone?

  • Got another on the UPS truck!!

  • This is the best delay EVER with the T-Rex Replica... with no doubts!

  • And with the Roland RE-201 Space Echo

  • And the deluxe memory man

  • It sounds great!! but its really expensive :|

  • Dude you've been adding oodles of videos. Keep it up!

  • nice! such an awesome delay. wish i could afford one of these. :)

  • @amarr1 please let me preface this by saying i know they arent the same....BUT!!! (and a huge butt ahha) the strymon el capistan is so so so so so freakin close....i have one and im tellin ya from exp....they are freakin amazing
