the only thing that driver has over gta is that the police chases are good in gta all you have to do is drive top speed in a straight road and you get away easy but did like driver

D3 were quite dissapointing ... it were not bad (NVR played Driver paraller lines tho) it just kinda felt wierd ast time... cars handlig is underestimated the whole istambul part were akward to say teh least (not enough traffic, uncorresponding weapons used by the boss... allso inreference to cutscenes there is much less cars parked .(, whole part on feet is allso kinda stiff

it feels like they were trying to mix arcade with simulation ... and failed misserably.

Driv3r is so much better than gta, too bad it got criticized way too much. It's absolutely awesome, there are only a few issues with artificial intelligence...but the graphics and the physics engine...they're amazing.

allright, it might not be as good as gta at many things. gta just has lots of stuff and funnny people, but things like physics and graphics are far worse than driv3r. it's impossible to drive like this in gta because the physics are horrible: you'll always explode when you flip, and otherwise nothing will really happen to your car until thick black smoke comes from it. in driv3r you can still loose wheels and practically all car part before your car is actually broken.

true, but everybody knows that wasn't a true driver game ;) Parallel lines is the result of Reflections abandoning all there originality and coolness (film director mode included) to make a game more like GTA. The helarious irony is that after this, Rockstar includes a replay editor that topped drivers replay editor in the PC version of GTAIV. What a slap in the face...and deserved imo. Reflections abandon there fanbase with the shart parallel lines.

They actually dont' look as good as they could now. I've learned a lot since creating this vid, not to mention youtube now supports high quality uploads. For this video I used a true deinterlace technique which seperates the image fields, rather then blending them. I used a sharpen filter. Tweaked brightness/contrast, and imcreased saturation a bit. Thats just how it turned out. Prolly more than you wanted to know :\

Funny to think, but I bought my xbox because of this game. I played it on my bros ps2 and loved it. Looked at some screens online and it looked better on xbox, so I got an xbox. The replays messed up less on xbox as well.
