@mariosathens1 there has been illegal settling on Greek side of Cyprus, in the negotiations this will come up, if the Greeks insist sending back Turkish natives. a federal country will work, I believe it is the best solution.The Greek will govern their own side and the Turkish theirs, like the Model of Belgium or Suisse or maybe like Germany. I don't think Turkey will get into the EU, because when it comes to Turkey the EU uses a other kind of measurement, this (I hope not) will come to clashes and it will come to new blocks. maybe like EU Christian block, or Islamic Asia block etc. who knows, I hope not. it will take us a huge step back. the world would be a place as in the mid eveal era with the arms of know. @mariosathens1 Yes, thats true everybody wants something done by Turkey, they all got individual interests, if Turkey enters the EU, Turkey vote will be important and with the allies will accomplish a lot of what it wants done, but this is also why the EU exists, EU without Turkey won't be strong. between Turkey and Greece. Merkel as chancellor, has to respect the agreements, her party CDU/CSU wants special partnership instead of full membership, this is not negotiable. France got its own demons to fight and uses Turkiye in her interior issues. I think that to do the right thing the EU must be named; The EU and Turkey this is what it really is in practic.

10 out of the 12 "Kardak Team" were on board a Turkish Naval Cougar Helicopter when it miraculously exploded in mid air and crashed in the sea killing all on board. The remaining 2 remained on board the frigate as they were medically unfit to participate in the exercise at the time.
There was widespread media and military speculation that the Greek Military had either shot down the Cougar as an act of revenge for the lost Hellenic Navy AB-212 Helicopter.
Major Zeki Zen was secretly transferred to Georgia as part of Turkey's UN deployment in that country.
Zen then returns to Turkey on 06 May 03. 2 days later he was seen celebrating his birthday with his girlfriend and friends at the LAILA nightclub in Istanbul.
The next day at 1530, he was stabbed in the back by three youths!
So withing 3 months of the IMIA crisis, all 12 Turkish Commandos that landed on IMIA were killed. In 2003, their decorated Commanding Officer Major Zeki Zen is murdered in Istanbul.

@mariosathens1 there has been illegal settling on Greek side of Cyprus, in the negotiations this will come up, if the Greeks insist sending back Turkish natives. a federal country will work, I believe it is the best solution.The Greek will govern their own side and the Turkish theirs, like the Model of Belgium or Suisse or maybe like Germany. between Turkey and Greece. Merkel as chancellor, has to respect the agreements, her party CDU/CSU wants special partnership instead of full membership, this is not negotiable. The kardak team was always at the media after the imia crisis , they were something like idol . 10 out of the 12 "Kardak Team" were on board a Turkish Naval Cougar Helicopter when it miraculously exploded in mid air and crashed in the sea killing all on board. The remaining 2 remained on board the frigate as they were medically unfit to participate in the exercise at the time.
There was widespread media and military speculation that the Greek Military had either shot down the Cougar as an act of revenge for the lost Hellenic Navy AB-212 Helicopter.
