Remember, it was the Army who was running the program and technology, etc. In the Coup d'etat, the machines took over, and inherited ALL the Army researched for the future and had developed up to that moment. This scene demonstrates that. The machines used a research & Development model explored once by the Army (prototype) and made it a reality, using that Sergeant (Arnold) as its mold. The scene makes sense.

Terminator 3 was a mindless run of the mill summer action movie. Like something Will Smith would make. While Terminator 1 and Terminator 2 by James Camerson were absolute masterpieces of filmmaking which should be studied by all aspiring movie directors.

First off Alien vs Predator is one of my favourite sidescrolling beatem ups. Second the terminator 2 arcade game I am talking about is a shooter with two guns. I own the actualy cabinet, but that came out in 1992, so I am not sure what country you live in or if you are talking about the same game.

well, he was designed "able-to-learn" function...but Skynet disabled that function coz his primary mission is infiltrate n terminate humans and showing emotions is useless in this task..In T1, in Kyles' memory, Terminators disguises as humans to make his job entering the resistance a lot easier.When the door to the base was unlocked, he kills all in sight. Thats infiltration. Not making frens with humans by smiling n all...In original T2, John had to reset the systems so Terminator could learn..

in original T1, Skynet was a supercomputer that takes over the world via machines and machines creates duplicates of themselves but a smarter version of them, thus came the Terminators...
in T2, based on T1 incident, US was analysing the remains of Terminator and gives them "ideas" to create a super AI computer and machine drafts (Terminators not yet created)
then T3, Skynet is a strange virus that "learns" and merges itself from internet to PCs and finally the Pentagon..basic robots was born.

also,in T3, it finally explains why Arnold was made as the "main character" for T800 series..T800 series was the ONLY version of terminator made by man before world was nuked. US was deciding to make a "safe war" using robots, and using their best sargeant (Arnold) as the skin mold (the vid was cut off where it shows the mold of Arnold's face that will be implemented onto T800 series)
Advance series such as TX n T1000 was different coz Skynet became so clever it can make better versions of T800

Actually, it is a deleted scene.
And regardless of what you think, Kyle Reese already said that the T-600's had rubber skin and were easily distinguishable by the resistance, so SkyNet created the T-800's. The T-600 series wasn't put online until 2018, and while humans were still in charge of the program, there wasn't anything more advanced than the T-1's and the small HK's.

no, u are wrong. What Kyle said only happened in the actual timeline IF Kyle NEVER came to the past and warn Sarah.
Then T2 happened. That changed EVERYTHING. Future events changed even more on T3 (Skynet was a virus who merged with programs, Kyle said it "suddenly became self aware" and the date world ended changed as well, End of world should happen in 1990s...now it happened in 2000s)
Kyle also said Skynet developed Terminators...in T3, based on T1 events, Humans created Terminators...)

Regardless of your misguided interpretation of the timeline, the fact is, at the end of Terminator 3, the most advanced models that had been created by humans were the T-1's and the HK's. Those are Terminator models. Humans always created Terminators in essence. It's just that in the original timeline, Skynet comes to power, then creates Terminators. Cyberdyne's research of the first T-800's components accelerated the advancement to the point that humans could create the T-1.

Its said that Arnie will have a 30sec cameo in T4. Probably when he is to kill john conner, or maybe when skynet sends him to the past as in T1. Yes Arnie is old and not as in shape, but hey, remember this{ Pro Xavier and Magneto in X3 , or, Christopther Ahh Count Duku in SW, they used computer generated to make them look young and stuff. They should've set it in the future, on the other timeline....maybe John could've died in the other future so the rebels go back in time to get John from T2 (now older) because he's the only one who knows what has to be done eg. sending kyle back in time and stuff.
Then you can have all the future wars and stuf, it be cool! but no they did a repeat of T2 instead for number 3.

The 3rd one i thought was one of the worst.
Didnt have a good story line to it than Terminator two.
And in terminator 2 the relationship between John and Terminator is stronger then.
I feel that James Cameron should have directed the 3rd one too.
3rd one was more about showing off effects that they could do, they thought more about that than the actual movie itself.
Overall, pretty much of a let down =(

the humour in t2 is nothing like the humour in t3. t3 humour was just silly farce (elton john glasses, inflatable breasts), whereas humour in t2 comes from terminator's misunderstanding of human emotions and does not undermine the seriousnes of the film. that is a very distinct difference

This doesn't correlate with the first film where Kyle Reese stated that the first Terminators had rubber skin and were easier to spot. "The 600 series had rubber skin. We spotted them easy, but these are new. They look human - sweat, bad breath, everything. Very hard to spot. I had to wait till he moved on you before I could zero him."
