  • 6:02 Release the tidal wave!!

  • scorpion these are perfect. thanks! brings me back to cobo in detroit...

  • the best part is randomly hearing people go WOOOOOO THIS IS THE BEST SHOW EVER!!!

  • @Closure777 well put, these guys arent flashy pop artists with a bunch of back up dancers who dub over their own songs ... no there TOOL , there all real.

  • Personally, I like the transition between the video and the live performance. It gives me an understanding and leaves me questioning about what the song represents.

  • Great video, but once again, I wish the taper would have focused less on the screens.

  • I don't think any of as fans will ever experience TOOL the way Maynard does. To unleash that much energy and spirit up there. What a high.

  • I saw them at the Mile High Music Festival in Denver this summer. They had the best performance. The wind was blowing during this song and it looked like it was gonna storm. Fucking surreal. Unfortunately, we did not all get flushed away. Kinda good we didn't. I wanted to see the end of the show first.

  • Beautiful voice

  • the only way to FIX it is to FLUSH IT ALL AWAY

  • I love Justin. He's always jamming the fuck out.

  • "Fuck L. Ron Hubbard and fuck all his clones."

  • i certainly hope we will.

  • awsome i wanna acid

  • thank goodness for these four guys and anyone else who tcontributed to this tool family.

  • Feels good to be a tool fan doesnt it*

  • HELL FUCKIN' YEAH!!!!

  • Hey cool, i was reading all these comments about why maynard stood this or that way or why did he perform in his underpants or the camera angle isnt good at 3:34 and all this crap, i just thought hey!!, shut up and listen to them play!! its good enough that the music exists , who cares about the rest, it feels good enough just seeing all the positive comments, knowing that theres thousands more out there that feel the same as you do thanks to TOOL! If ya know what i mean :)

  • I agree with you, Finlan9: Then again: Could it be that Maynard does what he does is because he's ... oh, I don't know ... A Fucking Performer?! I'm just taking a wild stab at it, Finlan9, what do you think?? He's on a stage, he's got a mic, he moves to the left, then to the right, he goes in a crouching position, then he straightens back up. Oh yeah: He wears Depends & sings really loud.

It's called PERFORMING, PEOPLE! Granted it ain't the Kirov Ballet, but us TOOL fans FUCKING LOVE IT!

  • Feels amazing.

  • I'm very proud to be one!

  • I'm torn. On one said, amazing visuals, plus they cut to the band when neccasary i.e. justin go crazy at the end, I dunno. Just sit back enjoy I say.

  • Great recording of a great song, thanks a lot m8 (Y)

    "Learn to swim!"

  • for people who are ticked about seeing the screen more than tool, ever wonder why the band typically has so much visuals? and why they stand back so much and let the music speak for itself? maybe tool wants you to focus on the music and the art rather than giving them every bit of attention, b/c their music is more important than they as people are.

  • I agree with what you say about the music speaking for itself...but come on; you go to a tool show, you want to see tool. The visuals are fun and all, but unless I'm tripping the band is all that matters.

  • oh yeah, i'd be pissed if next tour they like stepped BEHIND the visuals. lol that'd be all >:[ grrr!

but for this video on youtube, being as its WAY different seing them in person than on here, but the visuals aren't AS different, i kinda like just watchin alot of the visuals =]

  • Key words: Peripheral vision.

At a gig, you can take both in without actually focusing entirly on one. Whereas, actually FLIMING the god damn visuals for about 3 minutes is absurd!

  • @Closure777 Very well put. I love Tool and their unique live shows. It's almost a hint of arrogance from Maynard when he stands back out of the limelight, as though he's so proud of the music the band is performing.

Watching Tool is definitely more like going to an art exhibition than a concert.

  • @Closure777 plus they don't really do much, anyway

  • Ugh I don't want to see the visuals! I want to see Tool!

  • lol, he was being a smartass, just in case you guys can't pick up on it.

  • What? My comment was a jab at Grushvak. Hence the "ass".

  • Definitely one of their best songs. Crude language, sure, but as he says himself, 'read between the lines'.

Anyway, I made a fan movie for this song. Feel free to check it out from my profile.

  • Yeah, the crude language really offends me. Ass.

  • yeah no one is looking at the scrren they want to watch the actual band

  • why do people put it on the fucking screen for so long??!!

  • i love how the audience sings along with him, it's sweet.

  • ~~SPELL BOUND AND HELD CAPTURED``

  • The Best

  • i'd personally rather watch the visuals then the band, sure they're cool, but there just people, people dont do much... they should release a live dvd just showin the visuals

  • so when you go to see Tool live, your there to watch the visuals? Sure theyre great when your actually there because they add to the mood and atmoshpere of the song - but on a video like this, id rather see the band.

  • performance was awsome, wish camera wasnt on side view of images during most of song though, we get the picture when they're repeating themself. manyard, ur dance moves? one of a kind

  • I love the part about L. Ron Hubbard.

  • do you even know what he's saying about l. ron hubbard?

  • Tape somthing worth watching like Danny.

  • Yeah, no shit. Who fucking goes to a Tool show and films the video screen? Idiots, that's who.

  • tool is good...obscure lyrics with melodious instrumentation...and maynard has good vocals

  • understatement of the century

  • this performance is awsome

  • Lyrically this might be the best of all time...

  • FUCK UM ALL

  • I like the little change up during and around 4:21, what pedals is Adam using there? Delay and maybe flanger?

  • this is the greatest song ever

  • Deep Lyrics, Love it.

  • ..And Justin falls down on his knees at the end to pray for the end (of the show or the world, I'm not sure...)

  • I'm sure he was just trying to fix his pedals for the next song.

  • ..I'm aware of that, bro, more than you probably think.. I thought it was just a funny line to throw it out there (apparently not to everyone..). Peace..

  • Why do I always end up ruining everyone's fun? :(

  • god i love this band.

  • your making Justing angry. You wouldn't like Justin when hes angry.

  • º¿º Thats what my face did!

  • Justin Smash!!!!

  • he's just trying to kill a bee that just bit him. hes stomping on it.

  • Where did it bite him?

  • wow... that was an intense performance. I like how Justin goes crazy at the end, it's awesome. Thanks.
