this is a 4x4 offroader purely for fun it was most likely a vehicle at the end of its life as it it failed the MOT or somthing so its been cut to make it a toy
got to the stage where need to cut the side panels and re-attach, when you take the quarter panel off and then cut the wing how do you then we attach the two 2gether?
cut the pannel shorter, but leave an inch and a half extra to bend around with mole grips. drill the hole back in and re bolt to the end ligh cluster pannel.
Harry mate what was the reason you bobtailed it in a stagered stair style, instead of straight down and weld back on? Is it because strength or is there another reason?
yeah, for strength and because it would have been harder to hold it all still otherwise to weld it up. there are lots of peices that get in the way too unless you do it steped.
What size are the tractor tires? I have a 92 Rangie and I think I have the alloys that are 205R16 according to the manual (no idea what tires I have on there right now..)
been thinking about doing this to a discovery, or maybe puttin series body on rangy an makin tax exempt 100" love landys, they are just so versatile, when its finnished its workin life, offroad it, then when its worn out and broke just rebuild it into somthing else, by far the best vehicle ever built.

We dont get the 2 door classics over here in the US. Nor with a manual trans.. Rovers are the best 4x4 x far!
