  • So damn sick. I don't know anyone better then this man. I glad uncle Phil did not hurt is hands throwing him out the house.

  • Jeff stands out above all these dj's. All these dj's today sound the same and are all doing the same scratches. Jeff can rock the house without crabbing and he always comes with something that makes jaws drop. I grew up in West Philly, Class of 83 also spinning myself. And Jeff, Jazzy J, Grand Master Flash, B Force, DJ Nazz, and a host of real and original dj's was rocking it hard back then. These kids today got it easy because the mixer does all the work.....

  • jazzy jeff the godfather of the scratch of the old school.....thanks teacher

  • The only DJ in the world who ever gave me goose bumps when I heard him do his thing!

  • DJ Jazzy Jeff, The world's best. Undisputed!

  • NOBODY is F**kin with JAZZY JEFF on two turntables...PERIOD!!! The best to EVER turn on Technics 1200's....

  • The best DJ to ever touch a turntable hands down! Jeff Townes

  • Jazzy Jeff created the transformer scratch and Jeff is 45 at least, so he started in the 80's Q-Bert wasnt even talking yet, Jazzy is muti plat, and world wide famous, so you cant compare the two,

  • Q is better

  • @mymiraclewipe Man PLEASE give me a pull or two of that GOOD S**T you been tokin on!!!! NO ONE is better than DJ Jazzy Jeff on them tables...Qbert, Roc Raider, TAT and Cash money ALL in the runnin for the TWO spot

  • the best hands down to me

  • What a lot of people forget is that Jeff was a leader and an inventor. A lot like Hendrix in that yes a lot of people ended up building on his stuff (like Qbert) but nobody created new things like him

  • Everytime Jeff cuts this, he simply almost makes a new version of Rock the Bells! He cuts the stuffing out of the track and keeps it moving! Thanks for posting and peace to all those that love real hip hop and not this mess that they are trying to bring to the masses!

  • I think too that Jeff is "better" than Q-bert.

    He is more complete.

    But this is my opinion.

For me, he is the best DJ on the planet.

  • @Romano338 I have heard other people say that too, maybe there's a little truth in it. Jeff is from a different era though, when you guaged a dj's skill by how well he could rock a party but if you want to talk technical..... Come on, there's no comparison. Q is the best dj on the planet today. I suppose it depends on 1: how they rock a crowd or 2: Technical proficiency... Plus your own individual taste. Of course both of the above are fantastic dj's i think we at least agree on that score.

  • jeff rules jeff is the best all round q-bert is good but remember jeff has been doing it big time for years i seen him 5 or 6 times with out seratto rane i am old school i been around since hip hop started so i should know who is the best and thats JAZZY JEFF

  • pioneer

  • I Think That Jazzy Jeff Will Smoke Qbert!!! But That's My Opinion. Qbert is a Good DJ, But Jazzy Jeff is 1 of The Best DJ.

  • Dude is plain FUNKY!

  • jeff is d bst in d world!! period!!

  • qbert would smoke em but jeff still kills it

  • I Agree Qbert would smoke him in scratching or anyone for that matter! but jazzy jeffs one of the best party rockers, his style and juggles are clean ,good all rounder in all different styles of music....

  • War dabei - war echt geil!!!

  • Jeff mastered his craft amidst thugs and hardrocks in Philly who would stand and see if he could make them move and say oooh ahhh! Well as his rep grew he had a packed house of wolves, sheep and lil red riding hoods! (read girls!)

  • I am sitting up here in my bed rocking to his rhythmic scratching! Just how I remembered I him in Philly. You had to be fly with the scratching 'cause the flygirls would leave due to "noisemaking" and the ruffians would beat your ASS! Philly was tough.

  • DDDAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMNNNNNN Jeff is the truth

  • God of the turntables... no doubt... no one better. He not only has the skill but puts scratching to artist use, not simply squeaking tweaking and noise.

  • Absolutely faultless.

  • Suuuuuuuuuuuper
