Steve Tyrell is an accomplished superlative musician in all ways, not just singing, he has produced so many soundtracks etc, and all his awards are the results of his abilities. Those who wish to listen to Sinatra, go ahead, he's dead. Steve Tyrell is a living warm, kind and very nice human being whom I happen to adore and so do all the Sinatra family! You 'ain't' seen nothin' until you see Steve Tyrell in person! I dig you Steve!

He looked a little uncomfortable up there, and frankly, its not one of his better performances.

That being said, I've listened to several of his albums and have been wowed by every one of them.

I tend to agree with you, particularly because I sing this song(haha). Yet, as you know, I am sure, all singers have their ups, their downs, their great moments, their less than great moments. So while I don't think this is Steve's better performance -- bottom line: I dig his singing. As I am sure you do. Me, live on TV, Jay Leno, I'd probably FREEZE TO DEATH (lol).

Forget the bad phrasing, the kazoo-esque timbre, and the cheesey presentation: he literally misses more pitches than he hits. Doesn't that bother anybody, or do you really not hear that? I'm content to put on Sinatra's "In the Wee Small Hours" album and forget that I ever heard Tyrell.
