This was the north circular but at Stonebridge Park. I remember this bridge so well from a child and all the local kids used to go down it on their skates (or should I say skate my mum used to make me share!) Its been pulled down now and the underpass put in that runs upto the gyratory system.

I agree! Michael is such a versatile and amazing actor/singer/comedian. What a talent he is. Nobody in Hollywwod today can touch this guy for overall talent even though there are a lot of actors I like! Please comeback to performing soon Michael and to all the U.K. fans I hope you will see Michael in WALL-E and support him in whatever he does when he does return to the stage or screen!

I grew up round there, still live not far away. The spiral staircase went a couple of years ago as part of a major renovation. Think that was sacrilege myself, should definately have been preserved to commemorate this scene.

The Classic stunt sequence by Frank Spencer! Other memorable ones are his hanging from the exhaust pipe of the Morris Minor over the White Cliffs of Dover and in one of the Christmas Specials - the Nativity Play set collpasing around him and he being airlifted by chopper from the roof of the church hall...

I don't know if the Health and Safety Authorities would permit such stunts nowadays!

He went to the right, not the left! But Frank Spencer's not too adept at getting things right. This is a classic comedy moment but it's been shown so often you don't laugh at it any more. But it's very well co-ordinated stunt work.

I guess ignorant people who have know clue about the dangerous stunts Michael has had know problem doing on stage,T.V. or film. They probably also have know clue of the injuries he has sustained without ever having complained once. Fir anyone who would ever call Michael Crawford a wimp all they need to do is watch some of the stunts he was willing to do, all for a laugh, to see how dumb that statement would be. He also did some pretty dangerous stuff in his earlier films just to get a laugh. Michael may be a little crazy but definetly NOT wimpy in any way!
