Funny thing is that we can just enter the name of this so called "pro" on a tracking site and see that he is actually a horrible player. Infact, looking and cash and tourneys all together, the "rookie" has allmost the exact same winrate as the "pro".
Just because someone wins a hand doesnt mean hes suddenly good...
@MrJonnyboy36 i had ace king once, and the flop was something like ace, 4, 2, offsuit. and the guy i was against look like he was slow playing me, so I folded, and to this day I wonder, maybe he just had ace queen or something and I had him beat. but who slow plays ace queen right? maybe he wasn't slow playing e at all and I had him beat? but who checks and then bets on the turn right? anyway, hitting one pair is just not good enough i guess
shouldnt be cold calling there with 7's, and the original raiser could still jam all in, the guy has put a third of his stack in preflop with 77looking to spike 7 or see all under cards? anyway whatever is going on in his brain here is going to lose him money all day
EP raise, MP reraise, bishvols calls in SB with 77. Just an awful play, I would instantly give him credit for KK - AA here, but I guess he's just bad. What flops are you going to like, except for a 7 on it? You can only call préflop if you think you have the best hand here, because there's no postflop room to play, it's either fold or all in.
Also: there are like 4 shortstacked player of 9-16 BB's deep respectively on this Final Table. Waiting for them to bust and climb the money ladder is +EV.
whats makes u a pro? slow playing? lol aint that supposed to be normal hitting Quads on the flop? of course slow play. u wanna take a bite in the end!
Your in the small blind. You look at your hand, it's pocket 7s. There's a raise and a reraise right after. At what point do you think to yourself your hand is still good? I'm not a pro or close to it but that hand would go into the muck without a second thought. Oh and if your gonna play it at least play it aggressively and reraise. I don't know just my thoughts.
HOW DO U PPL NO SHE R HE WAS A PRO.....cuz he play that 1 hand perfect like almost any1 that no poker n hit quads on flop would or bcuz u no that person?????
@KuppaTee What about someone playing a flush draw way stronger than it is? Or a fllush draw with a pair? Like A3 spades? He would likely call to see if he hits the river. Or even a straight draw WITH spades. Like 7 9 of spades or 67 of spdes or 9J of spades, etc?
@IH8WRONGPPL not really when you're preflop aggressor, i would never slowplay, just play your hand as you would if you had AK, or even aces there you would certainly bet them for value on T8T 2spades draw
only logical hand he'd slow play, cant see him slow playing A10 as somebody else could have a 10 or maybe another pair, the JJ/QQ would be woried about ace 10 or maybe even king 10, and the 10s could check the hand all day so only logical hands there JJ/QQ/10s
not true... most times the best thing to do when u have a monster hand is cbet like half the pot as if you had nothing, and the player calls and if he has position on you ur most likely gonna be takin a lot of chips cuz as soon as u check the river hes coming out firing and at that point u can hope he has a decent enough hand to call a reraise or an all in depending on the situation
it was a tournament.. u can tell becuase no dollar signs infront of their money. plus the lay out of the table is blue hockey arena which is wat it always is for final tables .
Wow!!! I would have found a way to wreck that play I think I would have...I would definitely shoved all in on the flop....

thats the worst fuckin flat call by 7's in the world

it was really obvious that they had a big hand because they did no continuation bet. They played the hand perfectly though.

VERY nice slow play, took just enough time on the turn to make him fire another bullet.
alot of donk players would have just pushed on the flop and ended up with everyone folding.

no way is he a pro reraising with a mere 1010 in the hole. TBH anyone can play quads- it don't take a genius does it

did u even stop think that maybe he had a good read on these 2 players and knew he was ahaed preflop

I don't know why, but my first thought was "somebody has quads" :D

Dangerous board for anyone with unpaired overcards, shoulda just check/folded and waited for the next chance to win big.
"Play big pots with big hands" as they say -- what garbage did the amateur have that was worth risking his whole stack? 77!? an UNDERpair? Yeesh. ::)
