to make it similar to a curling iron. its supposed to heat the rubber that curls your lashes to curl it easier and make it last longer. i honestly see no difference when i do either.

@Kookiez72 They're actually both eye shadows. The one used on my lids is Lost, and the one on my cheeks is Love Rocks. By the time I got to the Hautelook sale, all the blushes were taken, so I bought some pink shades to sub...working pretty well so far :)

@glamourgossiper I already said I failed with the 5 minute limit by going over about 30 seconds. I use the double speed effect in Windows Movie Maker so it's not too boring to watch. Now you have 2 more minutes to watch another video :)

Guys she did do this in five minutes but she fast forwarded so it wouldnt be as slow because as you can see the video is 3 minutes so if the vid was 5 minutes and sped up too then its obvious that she took longer but in this she did do it in 5 minutes

My grandmother always warms her eyelash curlers up too, but she heats them up with her hair curlers, on the base were it's hot, seems to work. lol

you could save some major time by attacking the problem spots first, in order of priority. Mine is to have a clean base first, so i focus on my skin before moving on to eye lining, blush, then i would use natural colours so if the colours are uneven they wouldn't be obvious. I can get my makeup done in less than 2 mins if I had good skin. Unfortunately, i spend most of the 5 mins trying to conceal scars and acne etc..

That is the first time I have ever seen somebody curl both set of eye lashes at the same time (cool technique). This video has a good vibe to it. I like it.

You could probably do your make up in complete darkness and it would still end up looking fab.
