This song is about A lot of People and subjects, I'll give you some examples, Supreme Court Judge Clarence Thomas, GOP candidate Herman Cain, and the Black People out there with their senseless violence.< This is not A opinion, Its A fact. ( READ AND DISCOVER ! )
at school we're doing the civil rights movement in history, our lesson yesterday was spent with our teacher showing us various hip hop tunes on the subject. dope lesson.
@Rob0wns put yor money where your mouth is just name the time and place 100,000$ battle srictly cash no checks or money orders, and use your own orginal lyrics ready?
I'm from Germany. This Album was mentioned only in one German magazine. This is most likely one of the best Hip Hop Albums ever made! The quality of the beats and the lyrics is awesome....
School of Hard Knocks was criminally underrated. 10 of the 12 songs had an actual CONCEPT, something you rarely see anymore. And the only songs that didn't (Blow to the Head and Strictly From The Bronx) shine because they'e the only standard battle rap joints on the album and they're well written. Hardhead is still ahead of his time. All that Wildpitch shit from 89-94 is timeless, and they all had BEATS.
@TheOnionRingPimp so right. if hiphop said anything now of what hard knocks were saying in '92 it wouldn't get played. they can talk about gettin' naked honeys all they want and think that's 'controversial' but this stuff is still relevant BECAUSE it was basically ignored. it's a musical society that gets by on being diluted and that's why school of hard knocls was underrated. keep the faith. peace from Ireland
they kinda fell off the map cuz of beef with there record label as we speak there being sued for having this on the internet i know this because thats my dad the rapper hardhead yup thats my pops and hes about to make a new album
im from ireland and got this album when it was released loved it i never thought hip hop would change was stupid enuff to think it would always sound this good ,does anybody know what happened to them after this release ,like any more albums
@pcp1pcp im back keep ya ears to the radio, eyes to the tube, competion is jiffy lube,i'm that dude, spreading this shit like BP crude, language of the gutter,i mutter, and might stut-stut-stutter-,no matter what your crew brings i know my shits butter, so go call your pillsbury clique, and after ya practice,!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????
bitch shut your dumb ass up why dont you get a life instead of talking about others because the way i see it you bitches are not perfect to be talking about nobody look at your own race before you try to talk shit about us cuz everybody have faults nobody perfect not even you bitch
Its VERY sad that the black People Spent their time getting EQUAL RIGHTS and now that you have it they mistake it for SPECIAL rights.. OH MY GOD!!! us whites CANT SAY THE *N* WORD BUT THEY LIVE BY IT.. THEY USE THAT WORD IN EVERY SENTENCE THAT COMES OUTTA THEIR MOUTHS...and STOP crying BLACK.. get a life
its crazy, all the wild pitch records were just re released. so i was ordering all the ones i have been looking for.. gang starr, main source, oc, lord finesse, brokin english klik, chill rob g, the umc's and so on. then it said you might also like hard knocks - school of hard knocks. I had never heard of it, but it was only $12 so i said fuck it a bought it without ever hearin a track from it. then when i listened i could not believe how dope it was, and now its in my top 40 albums of all time
I'm white , but I adore this music & wonder why He is not a famous star... hmm maybe cuz of wordz like this "Don't sell out" !!!!!!!
