@thepaledeath Woah! Lol! Somebody woke up in a bad mood O.o look dude if you got an opinion just state it. You have some compelling arguements, but you're going to make yourself look like an ass if you keep attacking people. Seriously take a breather and calm down lol.
This is what pisses me off, both parties seem to be more concerned about whos fault is what instead of actualy coming up with a solution for the problems that plague our great country. Enough with the bullshit already! Although im independant though i do have to say that fox news is todays yellow journalism. It hurts the republican party more than it helps too.
@BrandonDeanRobinson Are you serious or are you a liberal in independent's clothing? The left leaning press has daily exaggerations, smears, and lies and that to you is the truth? Both sides have their slants, but to call out the one conservative news source as being today's yellow journalism only exposes your own intentions.
I don't need a breast exam, or any of their services. They have gay women in there fingering people(and getting aroused)..it happened to me twice. The one "Dr" went to masterbate and was in the bathroom for 25 mins- after...They are devils. Crank call them and put them out of business. Hit these democrats in their pocket books- It's all they care about. We will rise up, and we are ready to die for what we believe...How about you godless democrats?

@politicalarticles Might want to do a little reading yourself before revealing how ignorant you are of US history. The KKK was started by Democrats, and they murdered black and white Republicans. BTW the slaves were freed by a guy named Lincoln. You might have heard of him. Oh yeah, he happened to be a Republican. This is what happens when Democrats inbreed their political talking points through media, schools, etc. Evil Republicans!
@politicalarticles You sure jump from topic to topic. Hoping something sticks? Apartheid is a very serious subject. To liken it to AZ upholding federal law is an injustice to those who have actually suffered/died due to apartheid. You should be more responsible with your rhetoric, and think about the bigger picture rather than your party's talking points.
@politicalarticles what the fuck are you talking about you are you talking about the civil war that the republican led north won and that MLKjr was a republican and that the democrats started the kkk to take out the republican party
@drumheadcircle - Are you on the same painkillers that Rush Limbaugh was strung out on? Or, do you just make this stuff up to play out your own sexual frustration? If you were TRULY abused, Planned Parenthood would FIRE those doctors. Clearly, you are making this up...
Did some homework, hope this gives some perspective:
Can't post links, so type "AR08_vFinal.pdf" in Google
This is PPH's 2007-2008 financial report. It shows that the total revenue is $374.7 mil, and that 305,310 abortions were done. It also shows $349.6 mil in federal funds.
Type "in-clinic-abortion-procedures-4359.asp" in Google
This shows the costs of abortions by PPH, which by average is $650. $650 multiplied by 305,310 is $198.5 Mil. So, Abortions account for 53% of their total revenue
@politicalarticles I'm not disagreeing with that, I'm merely getting the facts out there. Another fact is that the Federal government cannot legally fund abortions. But they are funding Planned Parenthood to bypass that law. It just shows a complete disrespect for the law. Another part of the issue is that Americans are very divided on the morality of abortion to begin with. Forcing people to pay for something that goes against their moral beliefs is completely disrespectful to them as well
@politicalarticles and you can find more lies from the left PP is evil it was started by a raciest evil woman who was hell bent on the genocide of the black race
@Mattgasq 53% of their total revenue. Not 53% of what they do. Senator Kyle claimed that 90% of what they do is abortions, but if you look at 2007 they performed about 289,000 abortions and 10,250,000 other services. Also, even if abortions count for 53% of their revenue, that doesn't relate to how much money they get from the government, nor does it relate to the percentage of abortions performed.
@HBombMusic That's what I said, their total revenue. I stated that clearly. And yes it does relate to the amount of government funds they receive. Clearly abortions are far costlier than any other service that they have. Thus a large chunk of the government funds are going to go to those getting abortions who cannot afford it themselves. The real point is that the government cannot legally fund abortions. Even if 1 abortion is funded by the government, that is still going against the law.
@Mattgasq You're confusing revenue with net income. If abortions are 53% of their total revenue. That means that 53% of the money they make (not get from the government) comes from abortions. Abortions at planned parenthood cost the client $650 dollars. Not the government.
@HBombMusic There are individuals that go to Planned Parenthood to receive abortions that do not pay for it themselves. The government funding pays for these. The financial report didn't specify exactly how many abortions were federally funded and how many were not. Again, you entirely miss the point. Abortions cannot legally be federally funded. The government is breaking the law. The government is forcing tax-payers to pay for something that many of which believe is morally wrong.
@Mattgasq Planned Parenthood receives money from private donations, not just the federal government. So, unless you can prove that the cost of abortions exceeds the revenue from abortions paid for by clients, or any donations / fundraisers so that logically they must get that money from the government. Then you have no case. You can't make accusations based on assumptions.
@HBombMusic You also can't assume that none of the government funds go to abortions either. And you are still missing the entire point. Read very carefully this time:
1. It is illegal for the federal government to fund abortions.
2. The federal government is funding Planned Parenthood, which performs abortions.
3. Therefore this is an illegal act by the federal government.
4. In addition this forces those who find abortions to be morally wrong to pay for those who don't want to pay for them
3. Wrong. The government is providing funding for Planned Parenthood, and nne of the services that they provide is abortions. But, that is not their only source of income. So *you can not assume* that government money is being funneled into those services. It's true though, *we can't assume* that they aren't. Just don't assume at all! A good way to start would be pushing for an investigation.
@HBombMusic Don't put words into my mouth. I never said that the government funds are focused on abortions, and I made it clear that they have other sources of income in my original post. In that post I also pointed out that abortions form a very major part of their revenue. So to think that NONE of these outside funds go to their costliest service would be folly. Also if 4 is right then 3 must be right, since 4 states that some of the taxes go to abortions. Use a bit of common sense, please.
@Mattgasq REVENUE is part of their income. Not their costs. Also, I was saying that it would be morally wrong for people to pay for something they don't believe in.
@Mattgasq This is a red herring. The revenue does not speak to the total services provided. Abortions are a much more expensive procedure than a blood pressure test, or a pap smear. Whether abortions make up a sizable portion of their income is irrelevant, as the argument was based of what services they provide.
Bloody auto correct...

If Planned Parenthood had that much funding for such things as abortion services than why did it cost me upwards of $800 dollars to get one?

When Democrats embraced the civil rights movement in the 50's and 60's -- all those racist Democrats fled to the GOP.
That Lincoln "freed" slaves is relevant historically but has no connection with the racist filth that is the GOP in 2011.
Stop using history to defend the GOP of today -- a racist cesspool just as rotten as the Democrats of the PAST!
