@tmwalkerm this was probably filmed more than 5 years ago, 'cos thats when i saw the show and the DVD we got of it is the same as this vid.

i'd guess it was probably filmed in the late1990's like 'saltimbanco' and 'alegria' i think

I like how Cirque du Soleil takes time when making a show. They pick out the act, the performers and the routine. What really ties it together is the music. I believe they're a venus fly trap and they captured that one creature. I think she's a worm or something. All I know is that the trapeze artists are some kind of plant because of how their costumes look.

what?? no.. the Triple Trapeze girls are the girls that captured Olga (La Promise) (green catapillar) and put her in the cacoon for her transformation.

Then why were they playing menacing music and why was the caterpillar scared and making whining noises when they captured her? I believe the caterpillar died in that venus fly trap and came back as a ghost which is why she wore white at the end.

no she is a catapliller that turns into a buterfly. but everybody is trying to keep her and icarus apart so the triple trapeze girls capture la promise and put her in a cacoon

I dunno. I still think she died which is why she was able to be with Icarus after. Icarus died in the beginning when he fell from the sky and his wings pulled apart. And I'm positive the trapeze girls are some kind of plant.

No. I can honestly tell you that la Promise is a Caterpillar that turns into a butterfly at the end.

She did NOT die and neither did Icarus. Icarus fell from the sky because he burned his wings. He fell, but is still alive.
