Can somebody please mention a fight where Fotiu lost ? The guy had fists the size of most guys heads and knew how to throw em. If he wanted to, he'd of been the best fighter of his generation.
Nick gave me and my friends a couple of pucks during warmups before a game. We didn't even ask for them. He just flipped one to us as we stood in the penalty box area (you could do this in 1977) with a little grin on his face. 2 minutes later he gave us another. Nice guy.

Fotiu was overrated. He skated around like a WWF Wrestler would in the days trying to hype up the MSG crowd. On NHLFIGHTCLUB, I loved the uppercut he took from Greg Smith. Couldnt take a punch without tying up or ending the fight. Look at the Brad Maxwell fight as well. Loved when he tried to hug and cuddle Bob Nystrom instead of fighting him, guess it was a long way from the MSG crowd so he could have cared less. OVERRATED
@uiwqe I heard Wilson is #1 all-time, consensus top 5 while Fotiu's name is seldom even mentioned in any top 20 list. i heard an interview wirh fotiu 1 time,,1 caller said,he enjoyed the fight fotiu had with shultz,,but i dont think they faught,but during the interview,fotiu never denied it,do u know if they faught??
