  • I have an alternative for your squat technique.

    Instead of putting stress on your knees and back you can find a chair thats quite small in height and simply sit down and stand up. Sitting down takes the stress off your knees but still gives you a nice workout. AND YOU CAN DO IT ANYWHERE IN YOUR HOUSE!!! good luck.

    cus although it stresses them at the same time its making them more flexible. i had knee probs 2 yrs back from a bad fall and thats how alot of this extra weight gain came about. so alot of my immobility is in my knees which is why i also do the dances where i have to bend them a lot.

    please get back to me cus you may be a genius cus sitting and standing is way easier than squating lol.

  • Absolutely it will still strengthen your knee muscles, but not as much as doing regular squats. Back in March of this year I had a slight tear in my ACL from playing baseball and once i was able to put my body weight on my knee I did these kind of squats and it helped tremendously. But I don't recommend sitting down all the way. You just need to go down until your butt/thigh touches the chair. If you do sit down completely its not a big deal, just do a few extra reps. Also recommend leg lunges.

  • god you are so lazy..you dont even eat healthy...u workout on the bed...if you dont put in the effort to lose weight then why try at all?

  • i am putting in the effort but i am showing people simple ways to lose weight so that they can gradually work themselves up to a point that they are stronger. do you have any idea how much harder it is to move around when your large? its not easy so you have to pace yourself. i did put in annotations that i am making healthier choices but that im not going on a diet. i drink more water and choose trail mix over candy bars a tip i learned from another video.

  • Good job on the loss! If you're serious about losing weight you can join the Gut 2 Cut group. The people there are really supportive. They've supported me all the way through my weight loss. I've lost 126 lbs so far, but my goal weight hasnt been reached yet

  • you gotta diet...losing weight is a combination of diet and exercise...i dont think you know how stretched your stomach is and if you just eat less your stomach will shrink and it will be a lot easier

  • well naturally when you work out you tend to eat a lil healthier cus you love seeing any results. I do make healthier choices sometimes but im not going to restrict myself from eating what i want. im still going to get healthier. i dont want to get skinny i want to get thick. thanks for your info though i appreciate it and will take more steps toward healthier choices but i cant promise.

    the key is just choosing healthier options when you can. and make it fun! choose friuts and veggies you love! like i looove food, but i also love blackberries, and grapes and stuff like that.

  • That exercise at 3:05 is what I need to do for them love handles =) Thanks for posting this! I have a mat I use on the floor - it is good and thick so I can forgo the bed. Rockin - keep it up and soon we will both disappear!!

  • lol i hate gettin on the floor. i also find myself not wanting to work out. so when im on the bed about to sleep i will push myself to do the workouts, "because theyre easy and im already laying down."

    everyone needs something that will give them comfort, a mat is good too let me know how it goes with the exercise at 3:05 if ya try it and if ya feel the burn.

  • just a tip DONT eat junk........i nkow food is good but youll be very surprized to find howGOOD some healthy foods are. also my doc. says just walk for 30min. a day..............i walk 45 min a day and i droped ten lbs. in two and a half weeks :)

  • oh but thats easier said than done. i realize healthy foods are good too. broccoli, banannas, strawberries, and corn are so delicious and i eat them more than chocolate if i can. The point to losing weight is to find something that you can stick to. If i wen't on a diet id be stressin bout junk and probably gain weight. i am drinking mainly water too.

    working out is how i feel comfortable because it makes me more energetic and happy too. thanks for the tips

  • well the thing that sucks is our mall is outside and its really cold out. i work there though and we did do that two nights ago went early christmas shopping (lots of walking!)

    i dont mind walking really except that chunky legs rub together and chaff. lol sorry for the mental picture!

  • lol my knees pop and so does my back lol. hopefully soon they will be used to the extra movement. ive already lessened the back pain from all the stretching.
