Around here, the cops just come up... knock, wait, and then present a warrant... I'd have understood if they had video of a bunch of armed thugs living there, but there was no just cause in this. Warrant or not, they waited 10 SECONDS between knocking and busting the door down... If I am woke up in the middle of the night, it may take me 2 minutes to wake up, turn the lights on, and go to the door. Screaming "search warrant" and busting the door down falls more in-line with "illegal search"
