The best lesson you can have is off the arban cornet method which you can use for any brass instrument, it will teach you all the basics.

Just so you hopeless retards know, his grip is an old-style grip. Trombone players stopped holding their instrument like that many years ago, however, it is almost expected that someone of his age hold his trombone like that.
