I thought Honda's Asimo had nothing on this robot (very human-like movements) until the end when I saw it was just some dumb guy inside it. I'll never fall for this type of crap again. The clip, however, was as good or better than a lot of those 'B' movies from the '50's and '60's.

It was written 7 years after Y2K. That's the joke. Y2K was a bunch of hype, that never really happened. Computers didn't crash. Cars didn't stop. The world went on just fine. Media and government did a lot of extreme things because of the fear of Y2K and most of it was a waste of time and money - like this stupid non-functioning robot - COP2000.

I think you have to keep in mind that this was made for the 48 Hour Film Project. We wrote, shot, edited everything in 48 Hours - including composing music and creating graphics. We didn't have a lot of time to think this thing out.
