No offence, but I didn't like ritsuko before, only in group performances. Now, I have no idea weather to be 100% more repulsed than before, or just completely love her for the fierceness in this song.
I think I'll just stick to Chihaya and Ami... 0.0
That's a nice start but, as much as I like the show, most of its fights boil down to rapid-fire reuse of the same five frames of animation and a lot of standing around screaming.
Try Black Lagoon, in which a girl single-handedly slaughters about a half-dozen patrol boats with a Mac-10 and M-79 *while they're all moving* or Baccano, in which...well, pick most any scene involving Ladd Russo or Claire Stanfield.
Oh, and both have good English dubs if you don't feel like reading subs.
@Memphismastermind Typing an in depth retort would take too long so I'll shorten it and just say, there are very few frames recycled, other then 3 second long flurry of punches/kicks, the series of frames repeated in succession only once.
I see what you're saying (and I'll grant I exaggerated a bit) but even taking that into account I'd still wind up calling it a style problem, if not a problem of production values.
If it IS pretty frame-intensive, than the same number of frames could be used to portray admittedly somewhat slower but much more fluid fight choreography, and the show would be improved as a result. DBZ tries to hard to convey raw speed and, (to me, anyway) just comes across as jumpy.

Why are we talking about most kickass anime on an idolmaster vid??
Besides, you want kickass watch One Piece.
Some pretty hard fights in that one.
Also the characters are funny and the story is fun.

@evyevy You want fierce, watch Dragonball or Dragonball Z. Those animes have the most viciously brutal beatings ever witnessed by man.
