Efectivamente, Lindsey Buckingham se encuentra muy por encima del nivel de este guitarrista, que aunque es bueno, no tiene el nivel ni la categoría del gran Lindsey...
@loudmusic67 ...agree totally...listened to this flying to Brunei from UK...14 or was it 16 hours etc etc ...lost count of how many times I pressed rewind on my SONY WALKMAN..LOL
@TheBluebellMoon2 woow you must be into vintage stuff from sony you still use a walkman in these days where 99% are using their i pod or i phone?anyway enjoy the music
Stevie Nicks, sure looked different when she was younger a much more round cuter face, she lookslike a little girl, cute eh! i like at 1:59 when the guitar gets high lyrics and Christine starts jumping it shows its real good, reminds me of the blonde guy in Abba who was jumping behind the keyboard.
I agree with the two previous posts! This was a killer song off Tango in the Night...maybe the closest thing Fleetwood Mac ever got to hard rock haha. I often wondered if they had gone more in this direction after Tango what they could have accomplished...but it wasn't meant to be. Buckingham's solo to end the recorded version of this song is simply epic.
Mister Vito, on the back wall of the heart of every rock and roll fan, there's a wall with the plaques listing the Top Guitarists of All Time in Music -
Do you think YOUR name is going to be on that wall!??
@msstevie1951 Donna, I'm sorry about the previous remark.. I didn't mean it as it read. It was stupid and incoderate to write something so offensive in the first place.
@msstevie1951 Donna, I'm sorry about the previous remark.. I didn't mean it as it read. It was stupid and inconsiderate to write something so offensive in the first place.
I never said ther was anything wrong with it...I happen to really like the music that they made with Vito and Burnette and later Mason...but Lindsey's ability to sound like two guitartists at once will always amaze me
It doesn't matter, this concert was most amazing. Even these two guys brought a new sound to the band till Lindsey got back. Many people have wondered why they got 2 guitarists... well one is the lead guitar and the other is for harmonics. And along Lindsey, Rick Vito (lead guitar) is one of the greatest guitarist around. So nothing wrong here.
Rocker53zero,Isn't it midnight in Ireland when it's 6:00PM here in Illinois USA? I love this song so much and wanted to share it with you too xx msstevie xxO
Hi Donna. I think we have a 5 hour time difference just now. I think It will be 6 hours when we change the clocks at the end of October, but maybe it will be 4 hours. ???? Not sure lol
Billy Burnette and (especially) Rick Vito deserve a lot of credit for doing an excellent job. And the album these guys made while with FM ("Behind the Mask") really is excellent, too. But, of course, no one can replace Lindsey.
his playing style is very unique, no one can play Big Love like him, unless they did it like the album version, not like the guitar and voice only- like the stunning perfomance on The Dance. There's no way Burnette and Vito could replace a ghost, like Kenney Jones replacing Keith Moon- just doesn't work, you know?
Do you happen to remember which song it was? I was in the Army at Fort Sill at the time so I missed that tour anyways (I'm not mad though Lindsey is one of my favs. just as this year I was not happy because Christy McVie did not tour with them. Don't get me wrong I love Fleetwood Mac. Just wish I could see all of the them...Stevie, Chritsy, Lindsey, John & McFleetwood all together...Oh Well!
Thank you very much Toniehoek! Well I'm not to upset that I missed that concert then. But I truly do love your input...Thanks Again. Scott (LOUDMUSIC67)
Vito and Burnette are fine guitarists in their own right, but the Mac was sadly lacking without Lindsey. They are not in Lindsey's league, though not many are, he's part of a pretty exclusive group.
they said the same when peter green went but lindsey is awesome but rick and lindsey have got different styles and rick got thrown i the deepend and did a very good job
man y cant all parents be like them even though chris and stevie never had kids id die to be excepted into the loving kind of families like them but hey um just a dumb 16 yr old all i know is stevie and fleetwood mac are my world
i think rick vito does a better job on this than lindsey he had a big pair of boots to fill and he done it brilliant he has worked with some great stars so go on rick keep on rocking
Just think how good this would be with Lindsey. This was such a great album. It would have been an amazing tour if he'd stayed in the band. I wonder if he ever kicks himself for not waiting at least until after the tour.
The studio version is waaaaay better than this one. I saw this line-up in '90 and was begging for Lindsay to come on stage. Best song on the album, hands down! Sophomore year at Penn State... great year!
It shows you how much of a genius Lyndsey Buckingham was though as the replacement guitarists can't really match the amazing solo from the original track. This song is terrific
I agree that Christine looks glam on this video and she wouldn't have looked out of place in Knots Landing. She should have been Valene's long lost sister, lol
I saw Mr LB in solo concert last year. Totally awe-inspiring. For a millionaire, he was a nice guy who really talks to the fans. Afterwards he was very nice when signing autographsw and msuical instruments. Rock on, LB!!

"donutcookiepie", you are so right. LB has the gift of making the guitar do whatever he wants. One song sounds like a harp, the next song it sounds like a drum. Gifted, Mr B is. Plus, we are not worthy to put down LB.

They milked 6 singles off the album in the UK. Then again, maybe the quality of albums would be better if more bands did that these days.
