A HUGE problem we have here in the USA is the vote: ANYBODY CAN VOTE, EVEN ILLEGAL ALIENS. Repeal the ammendment that gave 18 year olds a vote. Make it so that only property owners can vote, after all, they pay most of the taxes. Must have AT LEAST a HS education or GED, and be able to pass a citizenship test each election cycle before being allowed to vote. We need to get the numbers down at LEAST HALF, maybe more. you may have a point- it would be nice if only people that were smart enough to vote do so, however enforcing that as a law would be unconstitutional.
The founding fathers isolated themselves away from the uneducated slobs so that they could put their great minds together and come up with the documents for our republic. your logic is smart people voting = better results. However, those documents conseuently provide that all adult american citizens may vote, smart or not.

A HUGE problem we have here in the USA is the vote: ANYBODY CAN VOTE, EVEN ILLEGAL ALIENS. Repeal the ammendment that gave 18 year olds a vote. Make it so that only property owners can vote, after all, they pay most of the taxes. Must have AT LEAST a HS education or GED, and be able to pass a citizenship test each election cycle before being allowed to vote. We need to get the numbers down at LEAST HALF, maybe more. Sad to say, but many americans should'nt vote, as they are useless eaters.

What he's saying is basically true. I'm the only black voter I know that didn't vote for Obama. The vast majority of black people always vote for liberal Democrats, no matter what color they are. But race was definitely a motivating factor, especially for so-called black "conservatives" who ended up voting for Obama. What has Obama done to stop American military deaths in Iraq? Obama voted against a troop surge that reduced military fatalities by 50%.
So don't tell me that Obama is going to protect our troops.
And what did GW Bush do to stop abortion? He signed the Unborn Victims of Violence Act of 2007, he proposed Constitutional amendments banning abortion, and he recieved 100% approval ratings from the National Right to Life Committee.

This is great! I love how the folks are voting without knowing their candidates' stances on issues. This is brilliant and a pefect illustration of many liberal voters. If voter eligibility were based partially on basic knowledge of the issues and government etc., so many liberals would be disqualified that the results of an election would likely be different. Many coservatives would also be disqualified but let's be honest in saying that more libs are less informed than their counterparts.
