way superior micro from Jaedong, managing to kill Luxury's drones despite having equal amount of lings. even a single drone kill can turn the tide of a ZvZ, here he got 2 or 3 which turned into a huge advantage. not to mention that he forced Luxury to build a sunken(another drone lost) and he had enough time and minerals to even expand, even a larger advantage. so no wonder Jaedong finished the match off easily with his mutas...

Actually Jaedong had his Spire down first... Not Luxury... It was about 50ish HP ahead, so not a big deal really.

The reason Jaedong was a bit faster is due to the larvae trick that Zerg can do. By selecting the larvae with another unit, and hitting "Stop" it moves the larvae to the left side of the hatchery. For a Zerg player, this increases mining time by maybe a second in the early part of the game. In this case, it translates into about a 1-2 second difference in timing. Nothing that will make a difference in the game, but something interesting to note.

Klazart, you were incorrect on the spire timings, Jaedong's harass delayed Luxury's spire enough that his spire was quicker.

A bit of criticism for Klazart --

Although it's difficult to tell at most games, in ZvZ and especially with the mineral/gas counter at the bottom, I think it's important not to miss this!

At 2:10 Jaedong goes for speed and at 2:25 Luxury goes for lair with their respective first 100 gas. This was a HUGE divergence in the game, and Klazart didn't really notice! He stated immediately after that there were identical builds.

thanks for pointing that out. I did notice it after when I rewatched the vod. But initially I had thought that both had gone lair to start. But ofc JD had speed lings earlier which is why he was able to get in and do all that damage.

there's such little room for error in ZvZ... but god is it boring to me. Jaedong vs Fantasy/Bisu any day over ZvZ. :P

I agree in general, but you should probably watch Kwanro vs Mind. Particularly one of the games that turned out really unexpectedly. It was definitely one of the most interesting ZvZ's i've seen.

u just wanted to say that to be first ,). spoilers are welcome. since disgussing the game and giving ur opinion about the game or commetators. is what most want to do. and dodging reading the comments before the game isnt hard at all. big screens as small screens
