In fact many Islamic scholars would tell you that Hejab in Islam is not mandatory; but I don't really want to get into that discussion right now. Secondly Islam never destroyed Iran. I can take you to places in Tehran where girls literally walk in the streets with bear heads and no one says anything to them.
