Has anyone else noticed that the bmw sounds a lot different when it's braking than other cars. To me it sounds like there is traction control but the car is braking. It sounds really different I can't explain it lol.

Not only does that engine sound like Carmen Electra's sex noises in the form of a combustion engine (thats a good thing btw people :P, that Driver is like - Jedi.

Props for pushing that car so much so, that it sounds this great on Camera (although I'm sure he was more worried about his Qualifying time).

The V8's are a really piercing sound. I saw/heard them at Magny-cour 2006...it hurt alot more than the V10's did.

actually i thought the v10s were louder. i went to the 2003 and 2007 australian gp. the v8s sound better but quieter than the v10s. though the best sounding f1s are definately the v12s of the early 90s

GP2 gearboxes cause a thump as loud as a cannon when they change gear. Heard it in Hungary at the race, I was in the pit lane grandstand.

It's a 4.0 V8 but it's because the GP2 car doesn't change as gear as fast as the F1 that you get a massive bang -- F1 cars used to do that.
