  • No chains take the dog feed him anD put up a found dog sign d provide him or her shelter and

  • poor lil' guy.

  • aww...is this dog rescued yet? I can't watch stuff like this without knowing there's a happy ending.

  • The dog looks healthy and somewhat groomed...

  • I would just take the dog.

  • I would go in the middle of the night cut his chain and feed him treats so he would be quiet and I am sure he would be happy to come with me. Question, so did the person taking the video do anything at all? Has Animal Shelters not Animal Control been called to take him away from this stupid life, please somone give an answer to this question. Fantasiawave1@aol.com I want to know!!!!!

  • I got a dog like him and my neighber wants him dead. She hurrasses him out onto the road so she can call Animal Control beacuse she is a fuckin psycopath. We are going to put a $3K fence in just beacuse shes called twice and lied. This time we got one of her walking buddies beacuse her dog runs, craps, and doesn't leave our yard. We told the AC officer that so she and her "group" know what hell they just unleasehed.

  • Hell No i Wuddn't Leave Hiim! ii'd Take Care Of Da Liittle Fella..

  • Tragic news stories and statistics make the connection between tethering or chaining and dog attacks clear. Virtually every dog who spends a significant amount of time tethered will suffer some temperament problems. But why is it that, according to British animal behaviorist Dr. Roger Mugford, "[d]ogs, just like human beings who get locked up for no reason, will get mean and bitter"?

  • i wouldent take him i would call the police to come help

  • I would leave him I already have a dog who is very aggressive towards other dogs. That little thing would be ripped to shreds.

  • If you are going to chain a dog for long periods, at LEAST walk him/her.

It's about as natural for a dog to be chained up 24/7, as it would be for a human.

If you don't walk the dog-- don't get one in the first place; that is plain MEAN.

  • well i would call a vet or someone who can help

  • If you do not make a dog a part of your family, what is the point of having a dog?

  • you people make time to make videos no offence why not just steal the dog or ask the owners if you can have it

  • What happened to the poor baby? Please tell me he was rescued!

  • i hope by now morgan has been freed? can anyone update us on his living situation? i rescued my dog from a life in a cage, my other dog was found in a ditch and sent along a rescue transport where we met & fell in love. i would cry and sue someone if they kept my dogs like this...

  • Hey, if you wanna steal that dog just pay a crackhead to do it and bring him to you, or if your white pay a crystal meth head bout 30 or 40 dollars. I am not trying to be funny at all cause I am an animal lover. And depending on how serious you are about getting the dog you might have to up the money a little bit, but I don't think so, crackheads will take anything. But I'm serious, if your thinking about stealing the dog and are to scared to do it. Just get pay a drug addict. They'll do it

  • he looks nice, and his tail is swinging around, means hes happy...

  • @BeBeAyumi The dog is swinging his tail because of the person approaching him meaning he is happy about the company not because he is happy about his situation. If you watch any animal rescue programmes you will see dogs who are suffering tremendously swinging their tails because someone is interested in them.

  • @BeBeAyumi while the camera is there, someone is paying attention to him. How would you feel if you were ignored for endless hours/days/weeks and then someone came by, you would be so happy to see whoever it was too, like the dog is doing, crying help me ,save me, get me out of here, are you here to rescue me?????

  • oh come on, that's not abuse. Would you rarther just allow the dog to run freely around the neighborhood so it can get hit by a car or something? I know you animal lovers have good intentions, I am an animal lover myself. But they ARE animals and you can't teach an animal about road safety and stuff. Putting a dog on a leash is NOT inhumane. Inhumane would be allowing it to run around and possibly get hurt.

  • The kindest construction that can be put on your remarks is that you didn't understand that this dog was tethered from a puppy, all day, all night, all weathers, all year.

  • ok, ok, I didn't know that part. I thought he was just put on a leash and rope when he went outside.

  • @AnimalAdvocates That's a fine argument, but, there's typically another side to it. Judging form his structure, I'd say that he wasn't malnourished, and his coat (while a bit dirty) wasn't patchy or anything of the sort, meaning he was at least healthy too. Given his nature and stance in the video and his displayed behavior I'd also say he's good natured, meaning the dog wasn't abused. And the entire area isn't shown either, so I doubt he was without shelter for the weather. Two sides, remember.

  • @PatriotPodcast No inhumane is living on a chain for the entirety of your life, inhumane is having what is probably little interaction with others. There is a very simple question one can ask themselves, but few do is "How would YOU feel if that was your life?"

  • @PatriotPodcast my german sheppard cannot walk and has mishaped foot bones because he was tied to a tree his entire life from a puppy and had no room to walk... we are not talking about dogs put on a leash for a few hours outside... this is night and day and its a sick reality because they are so many sick people out there

  • AND we rescued him from this life... and he lives in our home and goes in our fenced backyard so theres no chance of him running free around the neighbourhood hahaha

  • @PatriotPodcast Actually yes you can teach a dog to stay in your yard its called perimeter training. My pup is perimeter trained. She will not will our yard unless I give her our release word which is ok go play. You take them around the area you want them to stay in and do obedience and walk around until their sent is in the ground. It may sound stupid or silly but it works. Also you can train a dog not to go on the road. Its curb training. I've seen it done.

  • @Marieantonia1990 I've trained dogs to do both for 4 years :D

Perimeter training is fairly simple if the dog can see a visual barrier, they learn best that way. Patroling the edge or border of your property mimics the canines daily routine of patroling and scent marking their territory. While perimeter training you shouldn't allow your dog to scent mark during walks off your property, it will only confuse them as to what is and isn't their yard.

  • @PatriotPodcast sometimes you have to check first what was the situation of the dog. it could've been OKAY if he was sheltered and put to a cage where he can sleep well instead on sleeping in the soil and being weathered all year round his life.

  • @PatriotPodcast i agree 100%. not to mention, they could be picked up by the pound. i'm not a big fan of dogs myself, but if i had one, i'd rather keep it safe on a chain than let it get hit by a car, picked up by the pound, or get stolen. the list could go on and on really. as long as you're feeding it and being good to it, chaining a dog is not abuse.

  • @PatriotPodcast They don't need to spend an entire week on a chain though. If you don't want to give a dog daily attention, you shouldn't be allowed to have one.

  • God I wouldn't even if I wouldn't have the money to keep another dog I would find a way.

  • no no no no no NO!

  • Of course not! He looks so nice, loving, and eager for attention! Hope you steal him!

  • OMg, I wouldn't I don't have the heart.. cause I'm a dog lover... What a cutie pie...

  • Every country must implement strong animal rights laws. We all must help with petitioning, videos, and writing letters to legislators. Dog must never be chained for any length of time. Dogs must be living in the house with people. Thank you for this video.

  • I swear the tiny town I go to school in w/ a population of a little over 300 has no animal rights laws.

The town I LIVE in is even smaller, with a population of a little under 100, but at least we respect animals. I have to ride 40 min. to get to school.

The town I go to school in is filled with people who kick and beat their dogs, and PUPPIES. They also tie them up and leave them in tiny crates and areas.

  • I stayed after school and went to the tiny park full of picnic tables. I looked across the road to see a 3rd grade boy calling to his border collie mix puppy, saying "Come here girl..." The puppy, with it's tail between it's legs and it's head held low, but it's tail wagging nonetheless, went to the boy. One she was close to the boy he kicked her repeatedly, and even chased after her to kick her more. She had done nothing. I almost killed him. I was ready to run over. My friend held me back.

  • Hello Cherry, Thank you for helping animals. I know exactly how you felt when you witnessed someone kicking a puppy. I have seen a guy run over a dog with his car deliberately and his car injured the dog internally. I felt like you with the puppy. I was so angry that I wished the guy death. It's not my philosphy, but it sure felt good to vent that anger.

  • Never ever would I leave him there.. I would risk it and take him to a safe place..I would risk going to jail to save the precious dog's life...

    Blessed Be

    )O(

  • No...Never!Never Never....

  • nope i wouldn't

  • In would never abandon a dog or any animal its wrong

  • I certainly wouldn't. thanks for all you do.
