  • oooh nice.

  • That so rocks Coooooooollllll

  • Works for me!

  • Nice work!

  • <3 it

  • AWESOME !!

Wow, samples of Patrick Troughton and Wendy Padbury from "The Wheel in Space".

    Way to Go !!!

  • @chrishooper68 lol I always liked tha line!

  • hey m8...this is the best version so far ive heard of ur who themes!!!!...nice programming too m8..sounds are fab!!!...well done!!

  • Doctor Who rave party!!! Who's with me?? Wooo!!! :D

  • @sixstanger00 I'm seven months late!

    BUT YES PLEASE!

  • @therealKINDLE ^^ The Fantom is awesome XD

  • Say, this is great stuff....it'd be cool in its own right even without the Doctor thing going for it, but I like the way it still comes through, kinda like you didn't distort it but magnified it.

  • Brilliant! ain't the bit at the end an easter egg on a Doctor Who DVD- can't think which one, would it be The Ark in Space by any chance?

  • Superb!

  • Awesome.

  • Mmm you're a good artist.

  • It takes one to know one Alex! Now give me that MicroKorg!

  • @therealKINDLE Heh you can probably do more with it than I can ^^

  • brill dude

  • I'm glad you enjoyed it! More on the way! I'm aiming for 20 different versions lol!

  • its alright-- maybe for a video game of some sort? dosent sound right for doctor who , but 5/5 for effort , and for posting me ^_^

  • Oh I totaly agree with you! Not right for Dr Who AT ALL! My forte is merely creating as many ways as possible to re-arrange the theme! U know! 4 Fun!

Lets face it, the task of Topping Delia's Master piece is the most Daunting & pretty much impossible one EVER! So I wouldn't even try it! Plus, I'd need more equipement. Much much more!

My Next remix is a bit less dance & more Keff! lol! Will take time tho :-)

    Thanks for the coment.

  • thankyou for your message and I quite like this big thumbs up!

  • Brilliant :)

  • Good work old chap, you don't disappoint us there. This version of the theme will be stuck in my head for quite some time now!

  • Is that a good or Bad thing!

  • Definitely a good thing. (c:

  • go brush your teeth!

  • Outstanding!

  • good work

  • That's smegging fantastic!

  • lmao! Glad you liked it & that I didn't smeg up!

  • Awesome dude!

Just curious as to how you isolated the main part of the tune during the "In Loving Memory" text at the beginning!

I'd love to have all of that for making some of my own themes xD

I think I'm going to start work on a decent acapella full Doctor Who theme too :]

But yeah, loved this :D Well done x

  • Ahh.. It's easy when you know how! Ha ha! I look forward to your realisation of the theme in the near future!

Thanks very much for your nice words! :)

  • It's very good, but to what extent is it a remix? Seems more like an original performance to me - well done anyway!

I am glad you appreciate the underlying countermelody of the original realisation of the theme too, there's a whole other tune in there!

  • I see what you mean.. A 'Re-Vamp' then?!!! I did a Remix before (Loop in Time Video) & wasn't happy with it. So Started from Scratch this time.

    Thanks for the compliment!

  • No probs - without being boastful I can confess to knowing an awful lot about music and an awful lot about Doctor Who. I wrote much of the wikipedia articles on Doctor Who composers and had Tristram Cary and Peter Howell as clients, and I think your version is pretty good!

  • Blimey! Thanks! I'm not a Pro or anything! Just like having a muck around!

I'm glad you like it! :-)

I have done many versions & have just started to put them on youtube incase they have a small entertainment value.

Peter Howell did an amazing job but I fear the BBC have overused it somewhat. I also enjoyed Keff's version as it sounded very ethereal & suited the Purple Titles that always scared me!

  • Yes Peter Howell's was brilliant. I also like Dominic Glynn's, however probably my fave piece of Doctor Who incidental music (apart form CIty Of Death) is Glynn's Trial Of A Time Lord opening sequence.

  • Excellent music video from Delia Ann Derbyshire R.I.P Sadly missed

    Doctor Who Theme is excellent

    Regards

  • Kind words there. Many Thanks.

  • I like! well done :)
