It is true the Yi-lan accent say "tsin"(with high falling tone) to
mean "very much". I think it is the short form for "tsiah ni" -->
"tsian" --> "tsin".

I do say Jin....lo lat, too.
'Jin' means 'truly', 'indeed,' and this is the reason why I always
say 'Jin....lo lat.'

some places play fur elise for sure.
yeah the music are from the truck.
i sometimes hear fur elise sometimes here this one. anywayz, as far as i know, only two themes.

So if you want your trash taken away, you have to be outside waiting for the trash truck? The trash men do not empty trash receptacles there? This is something I've never seen before. I LOVE the trash truck music! Now that is NEAT!!!! What do you do if its raining?---get wet waiting LOL? This is so interesting!!

I'm just back from a trip to Kaohsiung and I'm amazed at the music and the sight... It feels like everybody shd dance ... and I searched the web to found that this music is "The Maiden's Prayer", but "Fur Elise" is more popular in garbage trucks in taiwan...ha ha

I don't think that's true anymore. I just got back from Taiwan, and I heard a lot of garbage trucks, all playing the song in this video. I heard they used to play something else though (I guess it's Fur Elise?). I wonder why they changed it.

same bat-time, same bat-channel. there's always a garbage truck, followed by a recycling truck. but the recycling truck takes different materials on different days. maybe glass and metal on MWF, paper, cardboard, and plastic on TuTh, etc.

I'm curious, do the garbage and recycle trucks come by on different days or at different times of the day? What if you're not home when they come?

It comes everyday in the exact same time within 10 minute:),usually in the evening.The day for recycle of large waste is differ form every county.
