Gives you a basic idea of what is expected from you during your cpcs test, but doesn,t show you everything theres a bit more to it . Hope thats not one of the examiners on the 138 he,s not up 2 much.If he came onto an ascots job he,d have his keys chucked at him
cpcs scheme is good for on site safety but also a scheme for screwing money out of experienced plant operators.... me being an experienced dumptruck operator and filled in my yellow book for 3 years but am no longer allowed to continue work because of this card scheme ,unless i fork out money i cant afford... been on the dole for 2 years now - where is the sense in that.
@loppadus not all courses are a set price. Some places depending on how experienced you are and how many days you need they will charge a day rate that is how i did minefor my 360 10 tonne+ i have operated machinery all my life and didnt need the full 2 week course. The place i went to charged me a dayrate and i spent 4 days there doing mostly theory work
This video is an example of someone doing their practical test its just to give people an idea of whats involved on the day. If you ve spent any time in a machine yourself you would know what he's operating it inside just by watching him drive it.

The video shows only how the machine operates. Nothing is shown for the inside operation. Which buttons is the yongster pulling?
