Nice review, I've just ordered this off Amazon and looking forward to getting stuck into it. I've never read any of Crichton's work before and wanted to check this out since I heard Speilberg is making a movie of it.

I highly recommend reading his works. Start with Jurassic Park and The Lost World. These will show his brilliance.
