the first game of the season, and they got caught doing it in the first half. so they didn't video tape teams for 15 1/2 games in a 16 game season. and every team cuts corners some how, the pats just got caught.
it's possible that they had (past tense) videos of all the teams signals that they played, but the nfl didn't release any details when they confiscated all the tapes. and mangini knew he was doing it because mangini worked under belicheck before he became head coach of the jets.
