  • Do u know the exact weight of the trombone?

  • WHAT A MAGNIFICENT WORK OF ART.

  • Does anyone know the name of the piece playing in the background in this video?

  • how heavy is the new trombone ??

  • @TheLaugh26 It is heavy at first especially if you are not used to playing bass trombones. You'll def "feel the burn" in the beginning but you'll build up strength quick.

  • uh does anyone know how to fix saudering because my mouth piece and slide are stuck together and the slide can now come out through the joint were you put the mouth piece in

  • @wisewolf20 Sounds to me like you have a removable lead pipe. In any case, take it to a repair specialist. Don't try repairs on your own.

  • Is it easy to switch from tenor trombone to bass trombone? Or hard??

  • @ImmaMacaholic I have done that and gone back to a large bore Bb and F trombone and i found that on the bass you need ALLOT more air but i does improve your playing when/if you go back as you play more powerfully and through-y --- i say not hard but it can take a bit of getting used to!

  • @flemish4 Okay thanks a lot!

  • @ImmaMacaholic ur just going 2 need 2 support your notes more because it requires more air(obviously) other than that its not that hard....as long you can deal w/the bigger mouthpiece you should be okay

  • @ImmaMacaholic Depends on the person. It definitely uses a LOT more air, the instrument is heavier, and learning to do clean slurs between valves can be tricky

  • @ImmaMacaholic not really but i have played every brass instrument at least for 2 months each and i am only a high school freshman so not hard actually if i recall the mouth piece is the same

  • If you're a fan of Yamaha Instruments, check out this exclusive photo shoot and interview with saxophone jazz artist Mindi Abair. Here's the video! Youtube.com/watch?v=ZmSrOzXjsN8

  • I got somethin' simuluar, but with only one valve... Don't remember the modell name right now,..

  • @Digger843ASXM YBL-321?

  • @s3si1u Hmm, maybeeeee... :P

  • Thats my horn! :D

  • I just played a YBL-830 today at the Yamaha custom shop in Buena Park CA. The horn was cryo'd and then brought back to temp which relieved the stress on the brass and gave the horn an amazing sound. I played it in my Big Band on loan and it blended so well with the trombone section, I really want to get one of these.

  • can someone tell me the price of the trombones? , All tenors, basses, etc. MARK ONLY YAMAHA...

  • @ViTtorBSanJuan I bought a 882GO for $2300US if that helps!

  • @askayr wow, thanks, but tell me one new YAMAHA, this at that price? .... Excuse me, my language is that I am Peruvian and I have my father in korea and I want to buy me one, but I want to check prices ... can you help me? I imagine you play trombone .. As does a trombone with a single rotor.

  • @ViTtorBSanJuan Well, actually I bought it in Japan haha. It was 230000 yen (bought it online) but RRP is like 300000 yen. So if you looked at $3k it should be all good. And it is a single rotor and it is awesome, it literally makes me happy when I play it. What level are you? this is a professional model. But Xeno is great. You sound like a rich guy, so why not, if you can afford it buy 882GO or 882VG (it was out of stock so I couldn't buy it) It might be easier if you googled yamaha trombone?

  • @askayr I am not so rich, is that my father already returning from korea, and told him to bring me a trombone, I have a tenor, but I desire a trombone with a rotor, now say that I am not so professional, but I'm on the right way, I'm 16, so all I need is practice flexibility and some high notes, my father asked in korea, and said a trombone with a rotor alone cost $ 1,400, all right? a Yamaha.

  • @ViTtorBSanJuan well, I applogise for making an assumption.... Well, if you just want one for practice, then maybe you could look at student models like yamaha 300 or 600 series? You can look it up on google. And $1400 is about the cheapest it goes, for one that sounds like a trombone, You can get one for $300 or so with a trigger, but they do not sound very good.

  • This horn is about $3,700.00

  • Shires the only way to go!
