Few notes: This is nowhere near 150db. MAYBE a 141.

Also, it is a myth that bigger subs go lower. It's all in the tuning of the box. I can make a 10" woofer embarrass an 18" woofer.

Capacitors are junk unless you already have a steady voltage. They smooth out the current flow when it is already available. If you do not have the current, then they just draw it in themselves... Hence the name: stiffening cap.

@dereileak, there are speaker companies that reign supreme. Many are underground brands most haven't heard of. RD Audio, Sundown, Fi is kinda up there, And there are many more. Some of these companies make woofers that do 40-50mm of Xmax, and with a tuned frequencies from 27-35Hz. Caddi is right. And you can't find these brands at bestbuy, audio stores, there are only select few places to get them. But Kicker is a name Car Audio stores will throw at you if your looking for bass.

It does matter a shit amp can fuck your subs up.

If you really on a budget get a two TMA 1000.1 there about $200 apieace 1000rms at 1ohm. Get two one for each sub. Or a pheonix gold v8001 about $150 apieace and 800w rms

The whole trunk is rhino lined ond there is a solid rubber mat under the box and amps so i can get max spl into the cab. Like I said i hit 150 and i PLAN on goin to 152-153 in about a month at the next comp test wires isn't a big deal when u can't even breath in the car lol
