  • 10 ton school bus my ass

  • Only waited 15 minutes for the door trim when curing requires at least and hour ? Hello, is there anyone at home? Also, constant pressure needs to be applied until the product is cured on verticle surfaces. It's called gravity, son. Lastly, you need to clean off both surfaces. Scarification also helps, but should not be required with epoxy.

  • If it took ceramic off the mug that means its actually STRONGER than the original ceramic mug, so the weak failure point in durability and strength was THE MUG ... NOT mightty putty. You are either lack any common sense, are uneducated, or lied when you stated, "pretty sturdy handle, but not that durable".

  • seth macfarlanes brother?

  • UGH as a potter his handle craftsmanship makes me want to pull my hair out XD

  • Fix your god damn audio! The sound from this video only goes out via the left speaker, and thats a big problem when using a headset

  • DO Flex Seal

  • My dad used it for our broken rail for the oven and a few minutes later it broke off and my parents were sooo mad at this product.

  • i miss billy mays T_T

  • I have fixed items with mighty putty. I found that if you fix anything you need to wait 24 hours before its completely cured and then its like iron. I fixed the vertical post of a floor lamp where it joins together. Looks ugly but does hold it. How ever it will it will break apart if put on too thin or if you try really hard to break it. I put it on a piece of plastic on a depth finder and used it under water and its still holding strong. I use it everywhere. It's great.

  • didn't billy just stick the handle on, not make a new handle?

  • you only let it sit for 15 min you said for an hour to get hard

  • @bobthebuilder6938 thats what she said

  • Comment removed

  • @bobthebuilder6938 that's what she said :')

  • Mighty Putty doesnt work trust me

  • can you put some background music its kind of weird when you arent talking and just using the product other than that its really good reviews

  • FUCKING OPTIMUS PRIME CANT TEAR THAT SHIT APART!

  • But will it blend? That is the question.

  • if the audio sounds buzzy in any youtube video, change the video quality

  • Here let me start all over, your Audio is messed up, to much Bass! But that's not nothing my Text is pretty messed up to Thanks for posting! WOW i did it. lol

  • To much Bas or something! thanks for posting!

  • Audio that is!

  • YOUR AUDOI IS RELLY MESSED UP!

  • mighty putty looks like candy yum

  • if you press 8:45 he says dick lol

  • i point wasnt to make a new handle but to put the old one back on

  • Fuck the mug now you got a free cup man!

  • that guy is jacked! he applied 80,000 pounds of pressure or more!

  • just put a small piece on each side of the broken mug and attach its original handle lol

  • Hey so looks like you fail to mention that #1 they say to allow up to 24 hours to cure. #2 the directions state that you should make both surfaces rough. Do you understand a car paint job with clear top coat is NOT rough? #3 the mug failed, not your mighty putty handle. The mug itself broke ceramic. You said yourself that it took the mug itself apart. Fail fail fail. Your video, not the product.

  • you should clean the surfece before using the putty

  • nothing will stick thats you have to let its dry first

  • @lance530k ikr for epoxy u need to let it sit for 1 to 2 days fully to let it cure

  • Is mighty putty dishwasher safe?

  • Billy? I hate his gd shoutin and his painted beard; made a lot of folks buy shit but I'm glad i dont have to hear him anymore; I wont buy the stupid ass putty; thanks for the heads up

  • mighty putty smells like burnt pubes

  • @MegaLordCharles all epoxy smells like that lol

  • skin irritation? How about the fact that the stuff smells like chewbacca's ass. Maybe thats why they give you a glove cuz once that smells on your hand its not coming off for at least 2 years.

  • ohh goodie! instead of just buying a mug or just going to the store and buying some glue ull wait for this thing to ship for u to be at ur house kneeding it for like a half hour and end up having an ugly ass mug -_-

  • just buy a new freaking mug dammit ..

  • just buy a ner freaking mug dammit ..

  • Obviously it won't work like the infomercial, cause Billy Mays isn't using it. =)

  • id give it 2/6

  • wait this is for repairs ??!! I TOLD MY LIL BRO TO GO UPSTAIRS AND PLAY WITH SOME 0.O

  • @z33z11 are you talking about silly putty or mighty putty?

  • @marmotsrule101 oh i guess i kant tell silly and mighty apart sry false alarm -.-

  • wouldnt you just re-atach the handle of that mug with a littke but instead using a whole stick of mighty putty??

  • theres a better invention called CRAZY GLUE

  • Im guessing if you scuff both mating surfaces with sandpaper 100-130 grit, and clean with denatured alcohol or perhaps laquer thinner, let dry then use mighty puddy you will get the best possible bond, just as you would with JB Weld.

  • some glue and reattach the handle...

  • @nuttyguy123 just paint it

  • But will it blend?

  • that's great that you can fabricate a handle...but is it dishwasher safe?

  • um dude, for the coffee cup, couldn't u just put two little balls on the ends of the handle and stick it on there?

  • magic bull shit this is

  • The fact that It took some of the mug with it when you ripped it off shows the mug's weakness not the puddy's

  • heyyy i have red cups just like that!!!!!

  • mighty putty; you're doing it wrong

  • you didnt let the putty sit long enough on the car its spossed to b saet 24 hrs not 15 minutes

  • Thats not how they fixed the mug

  • DONT QUESTION THE MAYS!!!

  • this stuff has been around for years as a vehicle gas tank repair where u dont want to weld. and i cant be sure but i dont think they made the handle of the mug from putty, but just attached it back. just throw away the mug and get a new one. r u following me camera guy.

  • Can you use mighty putty to make you some hair?

  • RIP Billy

  • @Garzization he s dead... Billy Mays is dead

  • 1:17 and then skip right to 4:45 notice anything?? maybehe got some skin irritation

  • Had a desk drawer with stripped screws. I removed all the screws and use the mighty putty. It worked perfectly.

  • ok the handle is easyer to make with just half the stick of MP

  • if you watch the commercial he pulls that semi with like 4 sticks on that thing

  • what if it gets wet?

  • when you broke the handle of and said there was some of the cup on it and said it wasn't very durable that was kinda unfair because the puddy din't break it was the cup

  • wouldn't it just be cheaper to buy a new mug than use an entire stick of mighty putty?

  • @polarotter so true lmao

  • @polarotter That is exactly what I was thinking! I could see gluing the old handle back in place, but to use 20 dollars worth of puddy to make a new handle that doesn't even match is a total waste of time and money.

  • @polarotter I think the handle was just for demonstration purposes

  • @polarotter that mug had sentimental values...:))

  • If it takes an hour why did he com back in fifteen minutes for the door trim?

  • 3 stars is way to much it deserves 2 if not 1

  • Billy was a hustler. Sold shitty items and made millions

  • pretty crappy review

  • ill just stick with good old duct tape

  • if there is something that duct tape can't fix, it is not fixable.

  • @greenxgreenman yeah after all the myhtbusters made a fucking working bridge out of it right

  • the cup: you should have put it on where the handle broke off. it pulled off the finish of the cup; it didnt break.

the door: you didnt let it set for more than 15 minutes? you didnt show how it came off the car? wtf?

the cup/pipe: you didnt try it on a pipe, and half assed it on the cup.

"i dont have the guts to try that since it didnt hold the trim onto a door" well if you had actually followed the instructions, it likely would have. you ripped it off before it was set and didnt show it.

  • just go and buy "jb weld" and use that instead lol

  • You should review mighty tape

  • Comment removed

  • just use good 'ol duct tape and superglue.

  • it can pull the 80k lb semi cause thats not the rolling weight that it take to pull the truck

  • OR

you could just put some mighty putty on the broken piece

  • wow this guy is an idiot

  • Fuckin thing sucks!

  • its a fail. the only thing i say u shuda dun diferent is any1 nos whens you repair sumthing you ALWAYS sand rough areas to make anything adhere like the coffee mugs broken areas.

  • @Nightmare25253

Actually you wouldn't want to sand it. Sanding it would make it smooth, and make a product like this unlikely to stick. You would probably want to use this like you use clay, and score the area, or rough it up a bit, so the putty has something to stick to.

  • @BMason3604

You always want to sand when trying to get something to adhere to something else. How smooth it is depends on the grit of sandpaper. And smoothness is relative, sanding creates millions of tiny scratches in the surface.

  • the mighty putty they get is the real stuff and it probably does work but the ones we get are probably made shitty and cheap so we aren't getting the real product

  • hahah i think his skin got irritated cause when hes fixing the car he has a glove on

  • Thank you for this review, this was on my list to get. I will not be getting this.

  • how much is a mug about a dollar, I would not buy this to fix a mug or the car. but that is just me.

  • it's just saying what it can do no that you buy it just to fix a cup you're a dumbass

  • mighty putty, it smells terrible and dose not work. It's just like silly putty, don't wast your money on it.

  • RIP Billy Mays, u will be missed :(

  • rip billy mays!.....and did they make a whole handel or just put 1 back on?????

  • Review Mighty Putty Wood and Mighty Putty Steel.

Also, you should review Mighty Tape.

  • Billy Mays always said he would not advertise anything that did not work...

  • if it took off some of the ceramic from the mug how is that not as durable as the original handle??? think about it...

  • U ARE A ASSHOLE

  • It's not billy's fault the putty don't work it's his job to sell things... Yay America

  • RIP billy mays

  • dude, the mighy putty clearly worked on the mug.

It bonded to the mug so strong that it broke the ceramic when you broke it off. the ceramic was weak, not the mighty putty.

  • good point

  • EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • No you fucking idiot.

he repairs the handle, He doesn't make a new one.

  • Actually, if you watched the infomercial, he makes a handle for just a regular ol' cup.

How do I know? Well. Unless the cup's handle was the same colour as the Mighty Putty by some arbitrary coincidence, it's a brand new handle.

Perhaps you should do research before running your mouth.

  • Perhaps you should do some research before you run your mouth onto my wiener.

  • Lol. You amuse me. I'll keep you in a cage and show you to all my friends, they love to laugh. I shall call you... Bob.

  • Wow, you fail kid.

  • how did you come up with 3 stars? no way does it deserve that

  • 3 of 6 stars?? Wtf, it doesn't fix a thing. I would give a 0

  • I'd just buy a new mug.

  • yah it sucks ._.

  • BILLY MAYS DOES NOT LIE

  • Mighty Putty.

    It can fix ANYTHING,

    but a broken heart.

    We'll miss you Billy. ;_

  • So true brother, so true.

  • Your words are full of hope.

  • @metallica1426 i know what can fix a broken heart, duck tape

  • It's just a stupid white plasteline clay covered with the green plasteline. Thx dude, I owe you 20$ for stopping me to buy that shit xD

  • "Btw, hell, like a heaven, doesn't exist."

    Too true!

  • you dirty wanker

  • I believe this review is just fine. Their whole point they are making is that the infomercial exaggerated. They made their point. You people are rather rude, and it shows how immature you are. There is no need to be as rude as you've been, flat out.

  • Comment removed

  • In the comerical, Billy Mays used like 15 tubes of Might Putty to carry that semi.

  • 3:13 thats what she said

  • this review is bullshit!

  • Shit comin out of my left speaker. Fix it bitch

  • this feels weird

  • So many things wrong with this. As people said you broke the first 2 things. And you even said that you only waited 15 mins for the car. And with the cup you try to fix a crack which is larger that a hole billy mays had. So you fail

  • Why don't you just knead the whole tube instead of cutting deli slices and letting the parts that you first "activated" start setting? You blew this one.

  • you are a dumb shit. First of all you broke the cup, not the putty. Then you tore the part off the car despite only half of it was being held on with the putty and did not show what you did. The last thing you did was not spread the putty on the cracked cup. Obviously you don't know what you were doing and should just leave now. Thank you.

  • wow this stuff looks like the perfect thing to all my problems!!!

  • You suck. You absolutely tool the part off of the car. Thanks for making me waste 10 minutes watching you bitch about mighty putty. Get a life!!!!!

  • there is a beautiful invention called STEREO SOUND DUMBFUCK!

  • Yeah, I noticed that it only came from my left speaker.

  • hmm i thought it has my speakers

  • this guys a dumbass. he totally cut out the part where he says i didnt hold the door trim.

  • you broke the ceramic on the mug not the putty

  • Mighty Putty.

    It can fix ANYTHING,

    but a broken heart.

    We'll miss you Billy.  ;_;

  • he doesnt know what he is doing. My dad used it to but on a emblem on his 64 falcon. Its holding great.

  • ...cool!

  • Why a plastic cup?

  • to fix the door trim, get a peace of sand paper and rough up the paint in the spot you put the putty on.. the painted car is very smooth so theres nothing to grip.

also, trying to patch a plastic cup, since the cup bends everytime u push on it..that cant help.

id say you are right that they do push it far on tv, but your tests *as usual* arent exactly well thought out.

  • u dont put it on a pastic cup lmfao..

  • screw you

  • Billy Mays died today at Age 50, so sad

  • No shit. We didn't need to see a youtube video to know how fast news travel with the media we have today.

  • he died saturday

  • Why would someone fix a hole in a cup with this thing? won't the chemicals mix with the liquid you'll drink later that day?

  • i like the other revues but this one pissed me off i mean if i applyed pressure in the way he dose to a normal cup handle i would probly brake it lol ur not ment to twist handels also as you said it took more of the cup with it implying that the handle was not the problem the cup was

  • Milliput is the same amount of money, and works better, smells better.

  • i love your videos youve helpeb my alot!

  • Think you Can put the Mug In the Dishwasher ??

  • You have to have Billy Mays activate it!

    sheesh

  • Reminds me of bondo.

  • its good for modding figures though lol

  • don't believe the hype...any infomercials they 're gonna exaggerate ....like any form of advertisement....use your common sense and judgement....if it's too good to be true...its not.

  • That's why I love these reviews.

  • The handle of the mug came off because the remaining handle of the mug itself was weaker than the dried epoxy (the handle pieces came off of the mug that was attached to the epoxy - not the other way around).

It could be done with any regular clay mug with a handle on it.

The door trim failed because the trim fell away from the (not yet dried) putty barely 15 minutes after put on. A correct test would be to eliminate any negative wind or gravity effects - just like in the infomercial.
