Well, this urban legend had certainly evolved. When I was a kid in Japan, this was a huge hit. We all talked about her in the school all the time. I even remember how to scare the kuchisake onna away from you. But I never heard of the beginning of this legend until now. I wonder when it was made (not the movie, but the story)

The kid got away and when he grew up he found out she was still alive killing kids. He trys stopping her. Thats what i know, its on NetFlix i didnt egt to finish movie :(

I saw this movie yesterday and I need to say that it was a beautiful movie. It is such a dramatic and sad movie. It doesn't truly get scary until the last 20 minutes and when it does, it becomes the most terrifying movie I have ever seen in my life. I don't think I will ever forget about this movie. I was legitly traumatized by it.

I am convinced they just slapped on a 2 to get fans of the first one interested. the 2 movies are VERY different. almost totally different types of horror. anyway, of the 2, this one is lightyears better. Yukie's acting is very good in this movie. Her role in vampire girl vs frankenstein girl was pretty funny at times. Here she shows a dramatic quality that is really convincing. Not bad for a gravure model.
