  • Actually baby bunnies aren't abandoned by it's mother. The mother is away but she is watching them and protecting even from a far away distance.

  • lol sucking her boobs

  • I tryed to get my rabbit to drink water outta a baby bottle xD Hes not wild though ^u^ :3

  • we have one that is an unknown age but is about the size of a dvd length wise, how do we feed it? it cant be old enough to eat vegetables and we dont know what to feed it milk with.

  • @theazdex See all comment information attached with video and click 'Show More' to see all information we know about feeding baby bunnies...

  • wow that bunny is really sweet curling up against u like that. It loves you because you rescued it.

  • did u end up keeping the bun plz reply!

  • 0:42 She touch the eyes of this rabbit. That doesn't hurt?

  • @ToniKatsOP the way I stroked her was mimicking what it would be like if her mother was licking her. I didn't poke her in the eye, I just stroked gently near it. She was never irritated by it, it always seemed to comfort her...

  • @stigstyles Ok then.I understood. ;)

  • Yeah I believe he is.

  • He was fine...I still can't believe he's dead :'( I feel so lonely without him...why did this happen man why! I miss him and I wasn't there to save him!! He made it to my bed! He was trying to tell me he was sick but I was too busy sleeping!! I feel horrible..I haven't ate or slept. I miss him dearly.

  • @FashionistaTokyo I am so sorry. What a brave little bunny. Let's hope he is in a better place now. It's amazing how these little creatures touch our hearts! He was lucky to have someone like you to love him! xx

  • Was going to be ok and that I wish I had whatever he had...and I gave him a kiss and when I got to the place that's what the lady told me...I started to cry and I was angry...his head started tilting back and foam came out his mouth and I promise you I saw a tear in his eye...I said my last good byes to him and gave him to the lady...then I left and I came back because I wanted to see if I could save him since they weren't going to do nothing...she said I'm sorry he passed away...I was so angry

  • :'( I haven't been able to sleep! He died at 4am and he was fine eating grass on his bed by the window...I always check up on him always! But when I woke up to use the bathroom he was laying on his side next to my bed with his mouth open. I picked him up and tried to give him some water as I cried...and rushed him to the hospital..the lady said they can't do nothing for him! She didn't even try!! It was a 25min drive and I kept telling him to please stay with me and that I loved him and that he

  • I feed my bunny grass and give it water...he poops and eats it...I read that its normal...should I feed him anything else? Like cilantro?

  • @FashionistaTokyo Bunny eating there poop is normal and a good sign. Re other things to eat, it depends how old your bunny is. If it is a small baby, it will need kitten replacement formula milk (read my info attached to video), if it is a bigger they like bunny pellets that you can get from pet shop, and dandelion leaves and flowers, carrots...

  • dont they have diseases? smhhh.. only white people.

  • @Brrritneeeeyy if bunny only 6 weeks old, not too much, 4 droppers worth maybe three times a day, or as much as they will take. We found she stopped drinking when she was full...

  • I have a baby bunny here it been at our house for 1/2 a month anyway the bunny isnt eating much but lettuce and some pellets. Do you have any tips you can give me to help raise her and I have a quick question?? How did you get the guts to hold a wild bunny dont the have Rab bies if they bite! Nice video :)

  • that little furry critter is sooo cute!!

  • i gave my aunts baby bunny a tiny piece of bubble gum and it died :(

  • @rilezly Really? What were you thinking? I hope you never do it again... :(

  • @stigstyles yes really it was like five years ago and it broke my heart!!!!! i guess i just wanted to c if it would eat it. and it smelled it ate it and died! trust me i learned my lesson i love animals and am vegan!

  • Aww cute! :D

  • AhhhhHHHHH I want this bunny for myself!!!!!!!!!!! now!

  • i found a 2 week old rabit its not a cotten tail but it loks like your but very smaller and like i lost it in my den for about 2 or 3 days lol sry its not my fualt it can jump about 2 feet in the air andike we couat it and it was put back in its cage but we feed ours celery and carrots it is very ues to it now

  • this little animal will never cause any bad to any other living creature.... respect and care is all i think about this bunny..........

  • the mother doesnt abandon them they only visit the babies once everyday to feed them the babies are without smell and the mother is not so she avoids attracting predators this way.

  • aww so cute :)

  • aww soo cute. great job on taking care of him/her looks like a very healthy bunny:)

  • I just caught a cottontail we are thinking hes about 1-2 weeks old he has fur already but he/she cant stand on its hind legs and front legs he/she just keeps sliding around in a cardboard box. We are taking him to the animal shelter see if they will feed him/her or put him/her down. Also we were doing this but he/she wouldnt eat or drink so thats why were taking him/her to the AS

  • does these wild rabits have any rabies or germs. because i catched one just the same as that one.

  • @1peiceaznboi our bunny didn't. They should be fine. It's possible, but I doubt it...

  • @stigstyles I just found a baby bunny (wild) it's injured a cat attacked it and it leg is pretty bad anything to help?? the bone is visable

  • awww he's so cute<3

    shwp shwp shwp shwp shwp

  • i love how you held the rabbit close to you at the end, i used to do that to my dog when he was a pup but he's too big and heavy to do that now lol

  • aww cute <3

  • Cute!!

  • You're rabbit is cute.

Though, I just felt a little weird about something. Is it okay if you let rabbits put their face up into a jacket or something cozy? I thought it would almost choke them so I had a limit of them smudging themselves into something. Was this OK? Do they feel more safe with their face in something? Now, don't get me wrong. I did let them put their noses in a place, but I made them be careful and have a tiny speck of room so that they could breathe properly.

  • @marxandkirbyrocks she was the one that wanted to scurry up into my neck and sleep. I think it's fine. When they are in a burrow with their mother and a whole lot of other baby bunnies, there isn't a lot of air and they don't seem to suffocate. She was most content in my scarf, feeling safe and taken care of. I think it was the closest thing to being next to her warm mother.

  • @stigstyles Ok. I had bunnys in the past but they all died for normal reasons.

  • I dont know how old mine is but he's smaller than that Im not sure though cause he's eating lettuce and carrots apparently should I feed him milk instead?

  • i thought mom rabbits don't really abandon their young? or was the mom not coming back at all? like, did you know that she was dead or something??

  • Please PM me because my bunny wont feed her kits and I know that they usually feed their babies in the ngight but I swear she is not feeding them at all please please please pm me!! ahh!! lolz!!

  • ohhhhhh such a cute little baby.... I hope he´s fine

  • nyuuuuuu

  • Awwwww so cute

  • My bunny looks the exactly the same as that bunny xD

  • lol my baby rabbit is a little bit smaller that yours lol but i love cuddling with him in my sweater as well xD she loves it to

  • i found a baby bunny and we bought kitty replacement formula but it doesnt want to eat

    help??

  • @12kingramon did you read the text info above carefully? Kitten Replacement Formula on its own isn't enough. They need acidophilus as well for their sensitive digestive systems. Try using some warm water and keep trying. At first our bunny didn't respond, so we had to just put it near her mouth until she licked it, then she got the hang of it. Good luck!

  • @12kingramon if it has its eyes open it might eat grass and it needs to get used to its milk before it drinks and you can spary it in there mouth and itll swalllow it

  • so cute *____* ♥

  • I found some abandoned rabbits 2 days ago. They are very small, smaller than the palm of your hand. So i was wondering if you know how much to feed them while they are this young??? Thanks

  • that's a sweet little bunny

  • i just found one and he wont eat!!!

  • TOO CUTEEEEEEE!

  • @vampireroker look at the text info explaining my video... there is a comprehensive explanation of how we took care of her and fed her...

  • He's so adorable! Bless you for taking care of him and hand raising him! Thanks for posting!

  • Did you get to keep the rabbit? And if she was instinctually feral how did you guys cope? She seems very, very sweet!

  • I like the women and the bunny what a dream lol

  • Oh my heart! The bunny is so bright and adorable and enthusiastic! That is awesome! Just cuddling patiently in your hand for formula XD <3

  • I have some runt ones that are smaller than that..and they eat grass!!but wont drink milk??anyideas? oh yes i took them cause my brother was mowing the lawn and they hopped out my dog would of killed them even though the cat already did >:(

  • i use goat milk

  • we used to feed our rescues on Wombaroo replacement milk. Worked just fine :)

  • i want that ribbit soooooooooooooooooooooooo bad Love itttttt

  • omg, that is too cute!

  • ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh shes so cute

  • thats nice :), thank you so much for all of the advice, talk to you soon, or if i have any more questions.

  • thank you, i am looking for one, and i want it to remind me of the one that just passed away, he is in a better place now, but im looking for one for my nanny, she is the one who took it home with her,

    is ur bunny still alive?

  • She sure is! She is friendly and fun. She likes running around in the garden, but we also keep her inside where she runs from room to room. But we have to make sure there are no cords for her to nibble on! She is potty trained to go to the toilet in a box in the bathroom.

Good luck finding just the right bunny!

  • I used to have a bunny. we had to give it away :'(

  • im sorry thank u for ur advice but he just died yesterday, but he was a good bunny thank you

  • Sorry to hear that. Poor little bunny. :-(

Maybe you should consider getting a bunny anyway.

They make for a great pet. :-)

  • ok my mom herd like a screming nois the night before the incident, and the next day she was hearing the same nois, so she went outside to see what it was, and my cat had had a babby bunny in its mouth, the bunny survived luckly and we cept it in my old guiny pig cage, still it would not eat, and would not drink water out of a bowl, were guesing this bunny is about 2 weeks old, its realy small, we gave it the name lucky, how do i feed it?

  • Firstly a vet visit might be good. Cats contain a sort of virus that will kill small animals (birds predominantly) if they are punctured. You can get a shot for this. Otherwise, buy some kitten replacement formula (vet), and some acidoplihus powder (health food store). Mix some formula with a pinch of powder and a little bit of milk into a bowl with some warm water. Suck it up in a dripper and feed to baby. Should get the hang of it pretty quick. See internet for more details. :)

  • Offer them grass and dandelion leaves to start with. They will start eating it when they are ready. Later they like a bit of hay as well and you can get bunny crunchies from a pet shop. Veges are good but lettuce leaves can sometimes give them diarrhea to start with as they can have sensitive digestive systems.

Good luck! Let us know how you go.

  • i have a babby bunny too, its a teenager bunny!!! so cute, nice video

  • OMG that is the cutest thing everrr!!!!! it fell asleep in ur arms, thats sooooo cute! ur so nice to raise it after it got abandoned! good job :)

  • Aww, that was adorable!

  • OMG he is SOOOOOOO CUTE!!!

  • thats the sweetest thing ive ever seen..i want one!!!

  • ooh it sleeping :)

  • ohhhhhh..........sweet!!!!!

  • omg ! :O

    very cute ^^

  • this baby bunny is not a week old in the video, he is more like 4 weeks old, i am raising 2 wild cottontails that are 7 weeks and they are only a little bigger than this one

  • I never said she was a week old, read the text . . .

  • We have three 3 week old baby bunnies we are raising. How is this bunny doing now? Did you keep it?

  • We did keep her and she is doing great. She is a friendly pet and amazingly tame for a wild bunny. She trained herself to go to the toilet in the corner on newspaper, so if she is inside, it is not a problem. As per previous comment, we fed her a special replacement formula with a dropper until she was about 7 weeks. Look online for info on how to feed them. So now she is a healthy bunny with a fat tummy! LOL!

  • If you have 3, be aware that they can start mating quite early, and they will mate with each other! LOL! Any other questions, feel free to ask! Good luck!

  • Eastern cotton tail, I used to take care one of them :) I was accidentally destroyed the nest.

  • ow, so cute!

  • We fed the baby bunny kitten replacement formula with acidophilus powder and some cream with a bit warm water and fed it to her with a dropper. After 6 weeks old they like fresh grass and hay. She is a great pet and very tame for a wild bunny! :-)

  • i found a baby bunny too wut should i do give me tips

  • I sent you an email too . . . :-)

  • i want that bunny!
