Y'know a match I'd like to see again, if anyone ever posts it? A 1992 WCW Saturday Night Match where Abdullah took on "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton. Bobby had Abdullah down in the middle of the ring and was going to do the Alabama Jam legdrop off the top rope...when Cactus Jack (Mick Foley) ran up to the ring and shoved Bobby off. The next week Bobby wrestled Cactus. Fifteen years and I've NEVER forgotten that. It was at the beginning of the Cactus/Abdullah partnership, which I LOVED.
amazing, abdullah never seems to age. I grew up watching him team with cactus Jack and yea, I think I remember that match. Amazing, again he never seems to age.

Jun Kasai, New Jack, Abdullah the Butcher vs. Terry Funk, Zandig, The Miz (The Miz because I believe everyone in the frickin match would just gang up on him at the beginning and just beat him senseless)then I it'll break to New Jack schoolin The Miz, Terry Funk & Abby going at it, Zandig and Kasai brawling, if it goes to Miz battling Kasai Miz may get some offense, Zandig may be the MVP of his team but I think in the end Jack, Abby, Crazy Monkey may take it home.

Massive blading. He bled almost every match he was in. Yet, he's still alive and well, unlike most wrestlers from his era. The hardcore wrestlers (Terry Funk, Mick Foley, Abdullah) don't die young usually. No steroids needed in hardcore wrestling. Just barbed wire, razor blades, and fire.

I live in Atlanta and I've talked to Larry (Abdullah The Butcher) a few times -- eaten at his restaurant (Yes - on Campbelton Road) a zillion times - and he is always ready with a smile and a hand shake - he is really a nice guy. It is no wonder that his trademark move -- was the "fork in the throat" -- the man DOES KNOW HOW to use a fork!!! And his Barbeque and his corn bread -- are the best on the planet!!

"Abdullah the Butcher" (Lawrence Shreve) born November 2, 1936 in Windsor Ontario Canada. He started wrestling in 1958 -- under the name "Madman From Sudan" -- although he never visited Sudan. Famous for his karate chops to the neck -- he never learned karate. Originally signed by Ted Turner Entertainment - he helped start WTBS in Atlanta with the "Friday Night Fights" in the late 1960's. Today he owns 2 restaurants in Atlanta. His specialty is ribs (best in the world!) and Chinese food!!

Yes he did back in Montreal during the International Wrestling promotion days in the 80's. Abby and Kamala were involved in a tag team match against Rick Martel and Austin Idol. Abby and Kamala turned on each other.

Y'know a match I'd like to see again, if anyone ever posts it? A 1992 WCW Saturday Night Match where Abdullah took on "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton. Bobby had Abdullah down in the middle of the ring and was going to do the Alabama Jam legdrop off the top rope...when Cactus Jack (Mick Foley) ran up to the ring and shoved Bobby off. The next week Bobby wrestled Cactus. Fifteen years and I've NEVER forgotten that. It was at the beginning of the Cactus/Abdullah partnership, which I LOVED.
