2 pulls and it's a mug. I'm so jealous! I think I over think it. Thus I'm not consistent with my pots. Your vids are really well done and helpful. Thanks for posting them!

I just started throwing and this gave me great conviction. I didn't even realize a hand was missing until the pulling handles part...inspiring. Thank you
I'm sorry to say there Dan but your dad is quite better then you. But i'm just going out on a limb here but I would say he has some more experience then you?
Dan, I am waiting with baited breath for the next clip. I have watched many throwers over the last years and since watching you my throwing has improved tenfold. your bat system is brilliant it works bril
thanks Dan just found your site two days ago and have learned so much. when out after watching and throw me first set of large one piece pots I did not think I could throw pots that size in one go. thanks for all your help
I had to do a double-take. Utterly amazing & truly inspirational. Your father is very talented. The apple does not fall far from the tree, does it Dan? It just goes to show that if you truly love to do something and are passionate about it, there are no limitations whatsoever. You can realize your dreams. Thank you for sharing! ~ tumalofalls
You have distilled pottery down to it's bare essenence, no tools, no leather , nothing to complicate the process. Thanks for sharing your craft with us.
It's that point you get to when you've tried to frustration and think, "there is no way..." then you see someone else it so effortlessly and think, "they must have been frustrated at some point like me, now look at them go!"
I need growth making handles, watching him do it gave me an "ah ha!" moment, now I think I get it :)
WOW!! I've never seen it look so easy. It takes me forever to pull a handle and he can make so many that look alike all mine are either so long or really short. Envious,
Wow, he makes pulling handles look way too easy!!! Truly inspiring. I had a friend who lost all his fingers on both hands and he gave inspirational speeches to usually grade school kids and at the end of his lecture, he would hold his hands up and say 'And kids, don't chew your fingernails!!!!' :o) They would all just drop their jaws and stare at him. He was truly a great man.
ahhhhhhhhhhh!
