@DJOuterCore hey next level equipment after this i would definately be looking into a turntable or two maybe some cheap technics with a mixer or look for sets / combos but you would really wanna be looking into turn tables but you also gotta remeber that when your turntables (vynl) you should get time coded vynl so you can use your mp3s and adjust them with the vynl but that software like traktoir torq and serato are gonna cost $400+

@frkadeath I would recommend a real controller and not a toy. Sure they are far more expensive but they last longer, are built sturdier and overall have far more functionality. I am sure you can make a great mix on this but the same could be said for MTV Music Generator on the PlayStation and surely you would not play a show with that.

How do I get the jog wheel sensitivity where it's tight, does it matter that I'm using the LE version of virtual dj, Also it seems like you could only do slow scratches I like underground hip hop where lightning fast scratches are improtant. By the way nice miix. I've seen people using the NS7 and mixdeck maybe I should just wait and get the NS7 in the meantime I would like to master using the mixtrack pro. I just recently got the mixtrack pro, to tell the truth I'm frustrated and kind of disapointed. Maybe I need more time to learn the controls the biggest disapointment is the jog wheel sensitivity I just can't seem to get it right to where i can catch the beat and scratch effective the lag time is terrible and it's such a delay in the response. I used Traktor Pro Repeating-Cue and Cued-Play functions in CD mode too for dissing Darwins FREEJAY using Choca diss, aaah & scratches and it is awesome for dissing the FREEJAY scene.
I bin use em Repeating-Cue and the Cued-Play functions on them Virtual DJ. On them Virtual DJ theres them 5 different jog Wheel modes. I bin just use them Jog Wheel rim on them Mixtrack Pro for them Repeating-Cue function, I then Cue them mix ready to bin Cued-Play, while monitoring them DJ mix on them headpones black fellow way DJing manually on Virtual DJ. Lately though I bin using them Gizmolabs RPM three deck DJing system on ma Mixtrack Pro with them Repeating-Cue and Cued-Play.
@jundermarra You are indeed correct Jundermarra, Virtual DJ on the Numark Mixtrack Pro is exactly the same as owning two Pioneer CDJ's and a DJM 800 Mixer with its song loading, Cues, Effects, Loops and Jog Wheel functions. Just like on the CDJ's your Jog Wheel has 5 different modes which are: Vinyl mode, Search mode, Loop in/out/move mode and the Nudge modes.
I'm glad to hear that you are a MANUAL DJing Master that monitors your DJing mix rather than being an auto-mix or visual DJing master.
@g4mmo u can record it from a program like tractor.. its the doing software that i use. tbh vdj is a try hard copy that does everything for u. Check out my mixes.
Those FREEJAYs need to stop living the legend of DJ automatic and manually DJ using the Repeating-Cue and Cued-Play functions while monitoring their DJ mix with headphones on Virtual DJ, Club DJ Pro, Tracktor, PCDJ, Gizmo Labs RPM ect. or Twin deck CD Players or Pioneer CDJs.

If you do DJ then DJ old school style by manually finding the beats using the Repeating-Cue function and manually Cued-Play by tapping Cue, hold Cue then play and release Cue and Play. @fijihunkinca first of all its a baby scratch .... spin your record back till you find the "scratch spot" (for that it was a base drum) then just go back and forth with it till you hit the one and then release.....

@hdelmas1 Check out, DJRavine's channel. he always films right from the top of his turntable. this way you can almost exactly see what he does, when he mixes. furtherly, there are plenty of different Dj tutorials on youtube. why dont you check em out?

@paintballmon135 What I was referring, is that if you use Traktor Pro 2 with the MixTrack midi controller, you will be able to open up doors beyond imagenation! I have the MixTrack and I cannot use Virtual D.J. 6.0 . They say you must have V.D.J. 7.0 because it's already mapped for the MixTrack. Great job dude! I was wondering why I having problems hearing the songs being cued up in the monitors and my headphones at the same time. i wanna prepare the song in my phones first but even with the fader all the way over, I still hear it out my monitors.

Its there for a reason. A real DJ knows its not accurate and that its much better to beat match by hand. I have Virtual DJ, great software and great sample of your mixes. But wow, I new getting a controller will make Virtual DJ better, but I didn't realize what I was really true missing.
I tend to hit the effects while trying to select with mouse, thus activating them. No more with Mixtrack!

@fijihunkinca first of all its a baby scratch .... spin your record back till you find the "scratch spot" (for that it was a base drum) then just go back and forth with it till you hit the one and then release.....

very nice. question for you. what r your config settings as far as the Jog Sensitivity (Cue)(Scratch)(Bend) I cannot get the scratch sound like in the beginning of your video.

@hdelmas1 Check out, DJRavine's channel. he always films right from the top of his turntable. this way you can almost exactly see what he does, when he mixes. furtherly, there are plenty of different Dj tutorials on youtube. why dont you check em out?

Gotta be honest, I like Virtual Dj and I have made enough mixes with it to say its great.I have Numark Mixtrack and the Audio 2 Dj soundcard. And I just purchesd TRAKTOR PRO 2. I'M Blown away! Traktor Pro 2 is another world to explore! My respect for Virtual Dj. I use it a like it alot. But it you want to unleash the power of the Numark Mixtrack, I would suggest TRAKTOR PRO2 .This Mix is great man, Keep up the good work.Check out my SCRATCH DEMO. - Cheers- :) DjPHIL

@paintballmon135 What I was referring, is that if you use Traktor Pro 2 with the MixTrack midi controller, you will be able to open up doors beyond imagenation! I have the MixTrack and I cannot use Virtual D.J. 6.0 . They say you must have V.D.J. 7.0 because it's already mapped for the MixTrack. So when V.D.J. 7.0 came out and Tracktor Pro 2, I went with Traktor. By far The best D.J. Program in the world! I have respect for Virtual Dj Djs and it rocks also. Great video DjAnomoly. -D.J.Phil

@EXOTiiCxPANGUiN It's a great starter setup, but if yo want to get serious you should consider something else. I highly recommend buying this first, however, just to see if it's something spending more money on++

Great job dude! I was wondering why I having problems hearing the songs being cued up in the monitors and my headphones at the same time. i wanna prepare the song in my phones first but even with the fader all the way over, I still hear it out my monitors.

@hiddentigerfist I'm just saying give the guy a break. He's not the best DJ I've ever seen, but he's certainly not the worst and just b/c he may have used an auto-sync doesn't make him a joke. Its there for a reason. A real DJ knows its not accurate and that its much better to beat match by hand. I don't use it personally, but I don't think I'm so much better than everyone else because of that fact. And I haven't posted any videos b/c I haven't been a DJ that long, got a problem with that?

I have Virtual DJ, great software and great sample of your mixes. But wow, I new getting a controller will make Virtual DJ better, but I didn't realize what I was really true missing.
I tend to hit the effects while trying to select with mouse, thus activating them. No more with Mixtrack!
Looking forward to any tutorials, because I learned no matter how good you are, someone else usually has an ever cooler trick/idea you never thought of.

@cjhdoc hey dude I knw the Anomoly is the pro but Ive djeyed enough to say I believe the Pro does indeed have a 5.1 soundcard .... possibly wrong I am personally a Hercules user abt to shoft to Newmark so :/ dont count on this but I think it does
