Look guys, i love both of them, but the matter is that FIFA is 1 little step ahead on gameplay compared with PES. I have both games, i experienced both. @TheRexxx23 I've played countless of hours of both. After a while of fifa I grew tired of the passing system, so I tried out pes. Obviously, pes comes up short with the lack of essential licenses, like the premier league. Didn't really matter with the pesedit mod though. Have all leagues and second leagues (+ CL and EL), the amazing manual passing system, the graphics, 2011/12 kits, insane amount of real life based faces on players, master's league. Fifa is stiff and way to tightly scripted.

Defenders sometimes screw up, you can dribble past the goalkeeper, you can pass in anyway you want, you can score incredible goals and the tactical part is more in depth. In master's league you can develope young players, view other league's standings and goal/assist leagues, prioritize player training and so on. In become a legend, you actually have to rise to the top (not chosing a top team from start).

The funny thing is that Easports have copied a lot of things from Konami. For example the menus before you start a game(where you edit your squad) - that was already in PES 4(maybe earlier, Idk). Now I was a fan of PES until fifa 2010 came out.

After PES 2010, I decided to give FIFA 11 a try. Actually FIFA 11 is fun to play, but the gameplay is too locked and requires actual football approach, it's very realistic, but a bit too much in my opinion. While those who like modern football, the very tactical one, might go for FIFA, those who think of football as some sort of a mix between a show and a game better go for PES, one has more freedom in there. That said, PES beats FIFA graphics wise without doubt. Both are good anyway.
