  • I like how the video looks like an old movie reel...

  • Probably the weakest song on Pyromania but still epic! Just shows what a fantastic album it was/is

  • ♪ Take a chance, come lay down with me

  • Best album cover ever! I have the LP of this back home. Bought it out of a giant pile in the antique store. One advantage of records was that their sleeve was huge, so you got to see the awesome album cover larger than life.

  • This is fucking good hard rock, my brothers and sisters!! It is a shame that now we are subjected to the likes of Lady Gag-me and the Black- Eyed Fleas and all the other utter horseshit that is out there. It is up to us, the true hard rock fans still left, to expose the next generation to this awesome music and for us to pass the torch so that they may keep the hard rock flame burning long and strong on into the future.

  • @superhornet69 truest thing ive heard about rock

  • @superhornet69 when i grow older and have kids i'll make sure them lil bastard listen to def leppard or else i kick them out lol

  • I'd love to hear David Cook cover this.

  • bad ass song !!!!!

  • WTF happened to these guys? Pyromania and High N' Dry were epic albums. On Through the Night was good as well. These 3 albums kicked ass. Hysteria was good but the end of the Leppard's roar.

  • @davebautista1 You're 100% right... and "WTF happened" was the death of Steve Clark, too much success, and a changing industry.

Clark was a major force in the song writing, and the "pre-Hysteria-release" Def Leppard was a very different band from the "post-Hysteria-tour" band. They weren't the same five guys... they were four guys minus a limb. They didn't have the same spirit. And when they woke up after all that... it was the 90s.

  • @instereovideos

Agreed 100%.....Steve Clark was the riffmaster and core writer for all of the hits off of high n dry, most of the hits off of pyromania and at least half of hysteria......he was slowly being pushed back by the producers and the record companies in favor of commercialized BS, which, imo, led to his increased reliance on alcohol, which led to his untimely death.....make no mistake, without Clark, Leppard would have never materialized.

  • @instereovideos yeah rick could not drum the same anymore in hysteria.

  • @davebautista1 AMEN, I couldnt have said it better

  • @davebautista1 I couldnt agree with you more!!!!

  • @davebautista1 That's because you probably didn't buy anymore albums. I assure you, they "roar" to this day.

  • Was jammin out to this when I was 5...at 33 still love it!!!

  • Seen them for the first time a week ago. Thanks Guys.. it was awsome.

  • @DarthDrizzt You should have seen them in the early eighties when I did. They opened for OZZY and were equally as good as the OZ Man. They were truly a "Kick Ass" Rock band back then. I wouldn't call them that now. There music now is to mellow and light. Very mainsteam. I miss the old Lep. Oh well, times change and so does the music bands make. Thank God we can always count on AC/DC for keeping it real and giving us good, straight forward ROCK. Happy 64th B.Day (10-5-11) to AC/DC's Brian Johnson

  • THE band as I was growing up. Why? Lyrics, riffs and just plain ballsy music!!!

  • This song is still amazing over 25yrs later.

  • Love Def Leppard so much. I went to the Portland concert a couple of nights ago. My God they rocked it on down. Keep rockin' boys!

  • Mr. jcc3279 i'd like to thank you for blocking people rating this song cause it pisses me off to see dislikes on a def leppard vid. >:(

  • knew that woman with the heart of stone she tore mine out played this tune for her once and it pissed her off

  • this was my first cassette i ever bought awesome album love it

  • This album fucking rocks. This band will always be amazin'<3

  • Looking at the album cover, it's eerie to think of NYC 18 years later.

  • @rogermcgee1 thats the fiest thing i thought

  • The best song ever !!

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ;) ♥

  • Yep i agree. This was way under rated. I just saw them last night at verizon wireless theater in Saint Louis. Good show. Just a little to much effects on voices. They would have sounded great without 3 echos after all their words. However still a great show. They still drew a very large outdoor crowd!!!

  • Fuckin awesome song, and one of the best hard rock albums ever. Personal fav!

  • Def Leopard rules!!!!!

  • Pyromania Best Album of Rock.

  • Should be added to setlist now imo.Very powerful and underrated song.

  • lol i was 7 when hysteria came out and i had that, this and high and dry

  • This song never got its due, great song.

  • @tmass11 I couldn't agree more!

  • this is one of their best songs.

  • every realized the album cover looks a little like 9/11? and the album came out back in the 80's kinda weird?

  • @Mitchymetal Looks more like the Cyberdyne factory from T2: Judgement Day

  • Was 12 when I saw this tour with in 83, changed my whole life.

  • @staugnativeson I'm beyond jealous. Too bad I'm a teen in today's age and the chances of any rock bands coming to Montreal are one in a million. Pop shit? Now that's inevitable.

What I would give to live in the 80s...rock on.

  • Hey my second album I bought right after Oliva Newton Johns. Both had there reasons.

  • Leppards got me under fire

  • my older sister bought this album when I was 11, I've loved it ever since. i'm 38 and it's still one of my favorites

  • I think it was one of the best album of the 80s

  • i remember when this album came out, it was the greatest thing that ever happened. we smoked and drank all night, many nights and still do!

  • this song is so underrated

  • @krisaf778 i`m surprised it was not one that didn`t get much ,if any ,air play.

  • @argavus It got #22 on the Mainstream Rock Charts. That's how awesome Def Leppard are. They get radio play on B sides.

  • @argavus really? it got air play? it should have gotten a lot.

  • One of my favs off this record! Just hated the drum sound on this record, sounds real fake. Much prefer the drum sound on the first two records. I just really hate the snare sound.

  • Im listening to this stuff for the 1st time in 20 years....the Snare IS a bit much

  • A shame what happened to these guys.... Classic!@!

  • the 80's were awesome... look at the album cover... its even awesome..

  • I still have this tape! We used to listen to it forward and back, especially on road trips! I love this song and this album. Billys got a Gun is also a favorite of mine.

  • I remember this being one of the album covers used to show violence in rock....Little did they know hard core rap would make it look subtle...

  • @thepouge1 It looks like 911

  • They need to go back to this stuff.

  • @1980motley THIS IS WHAT IVE BEEN SAYIN SINCE 1983

  • @1980motley sadly they won't. when Steve died, so did this sound.

  • God how I miss the early 80's! Pyromania is one of best hard rock albums EVER and this song kicks major ass. Takes me back to my high school days when I was totally in love with the incredibly gorgeous and talented Steve Clark...

  • Love this kind of tunes, great riffs and lyrics such as our relationship goes bad but sex is great. Steve RIP

  • GOTTA LOVE THIS ALBUM

  • LOL my friend calls this classic rock.... FAIlL

  • rip....Steve...im 42 and still love this album and edgy riffs

  • Can't believe this song didn't get more air time on the radio...at least I don't remember it.

  • I think Nirvana might have got the inspiration for Polly from this song.

  • best def leppard album...still likin it after 27 years...

  • DEF LEPPARD BEST BAND EVER!!!!

i cant believe that they dont have they're own guitar hero!! or rock band jajaja!!

they still rockin after more of 30 years!!! just amazing!!

  • @kevintotoleppard i know right?? they need a Gutiar Hero Def Leppard. that would be freaking awesome!!!!

  • Is it any wonder, you got me comin' under fire!

  • Album cover is reminiscent of what happened on September 11, 2001 in New York.

  • @ArnicaLader and you know what is a coincidence about that?? in the booklet to the Deluxe Edition to this album, it says that they played the L.A. Forum from the second live disc on September 11, 1983. isnt that weird??

  • anybody notice the parallel to the word trade centre attack and the cover of this album.

  • classic 1980's hard rock . I love it!!!!!!!!

  • i always liked pete. he was cool...

  • Every song on this album is a 10 plus its unheard of in todays garbage for music

  • @lamons71 i sooo agree!!

  • did pete play on this song??

  • @earlymtv Yes he did,He played Rhythm guitar on all songs,Phil Collen did some of the solos that Willis didn't have a chance to record since he was fired,Pete co-wrote most of the songs as well,A big part of Def leppard was lost when they got rid of him

  • @lamons71 In my own opinion a big part of Def Leppard was born and revitilized when he was fired ^_^

  • Under rated song in my opinion. Wish Leppard would play this live in their shows!!

  • Under rated song in my opinion!! Wish Leppard would play this live!!

  • i was 12 when this album came out. i must have played this cassette 1000 times plus one lol. Thanks for uploading!

  • makes me want to be 16 again, grow my hair back out, and get it on with sixteen year old girls.....like you know..like when I was sixteen...yeah...I saw these guys in amarillo tx. but that was in a whole other century..How can this be an oldie now? a classic tune with awesome riffs and a hammerdown drummer...thanks for posting this vid..Jcc3279
