I think they should have left it after the previous mysterion episode, where they pulled his mask up and it was just a generic south park face so we couldn't tell, it feels like something they would have done during the earlier episodes. But the show had to evolve/change, so fair enough.

This is not the first time that Kenny was shown to be aware of him dying. There was a Christmas episode where Kenny was quite obviously aware of his (then) episodic demises.

The biggest thing that pissed me off about this trilogy is that they kept pronouncing it "Ctulu". It's speeled with a T-H, you dumbfucks. That's what I kept thinking.

I knew from the start that Kenny was Mysterion. I knew it couldn't be Cartman, obviously. And eventually I had it narrowed down to Craig or Kenny. Craig sorta had the darkish voice and you never really HEAR Kenny he was a blank canvas as far as Mysterion's voice goes. I finally figured it out when I saw Craig in front of Wallgreens.
