I didn't hear any valid, explained well enough reason why not to sue if the doctor screws up! My advice, if a doctor did you wrong, don't wait past the statute time limit or feel wrong for bringing a suit against the doctor. I had a doctor once that screwed me up royally and I was young and nieve and felt too ashamed to think of suing, even though I did nothing wrong. After my 2 year statute passed, I learned that I wasn't the only woman that this certain doctor damaged, purposefully...

and is still continuing to do and it is now too late to do anything other than filing a complaint with the medical board that will probably not do any good! That's my 2 cents anyways!
