Catholic leadership is all about service, or at least, that's what it's meant to be. The problem is, modern man usually doesn't want to be served on God's terms, but only on his own, and this is oftentimes utterly incompatable with church teaching.

Meekness, in this context, is all about understanding your place in the universe with relation to God and others, like Moses did (the meekest man ever,) challenging Phaoroh in support of the Lord.
