  • Send me a Kakko 808 for review and I'll advertise your website on my site for 1 year..

  • WOW! That's Amazing!

  • I use the Hakko 808 for through hole desoldering. It's great once you get the hang of it. Unlike the video here, I don't stay on the contacts for more than a couple of seconds. In some cases you need to add a bit more solder to the joint before you attempt to desolder it. This helps transfer heat through the joint, allowing the 808 to completely clean it out. It's a great tool.

  • I've learned a lot by watching your vids.

Bought a Weller PU 81 solderstation and am about to purchase a desolderstation.

Would you recommend the Hakko 808?

I like it as it is self contained and seems a piece of quality.

  • that would make my life so much easier and im just learning how to solder and desolder

  • Just Learning how to solder, but love that High-Tech Shit!

  • bonjour, je le moyen le plus simple pour programmer les memoir flash 1)pour samsat 560,

et pour digiclass DC-M66CA Twin- HDMI merci

  • wow impressive !!

  • AAAHH! a spider!

  • @theguytube where

  • @MyForsake 0:02 - 0:04

    (joking)

  • the fuck is that

  • love to have one of those

  • @bluejay148 I have one of those units. They are great for the old circuit boards , but, on the new boards is you actually went in circles like this fellow, you would destroy the trace. I use a hot air station with far better results. In general, solder sucker or copper braid is best.

  • i want one

  • If you're not using the Hakko 808 what are you using?

  • i just use desoldering braid

  • zomg it's 180$ at his site

  • WHATS THE NAME OF THE TOOL THANKS

  • dude where can i get myself on of those?

  • Cool! This might be a good investment if you suck in soldering.

  • @cocobearbear

Or rather, if you DON'T suck.

  • @cocobearbear It's a great investment even if you are great at desoldering. The Hakko 808 can run all day long without damage, is probably the easiest desoldering tool to clean and maintain that I've ever used, always does a clean job and simplifies (and speeds up) the process immensely. Speed - with quality work combined - is vital for people like me that do a lot of laptop jack repairs.

  • yaaa! now i can replace my coputer parts like capacitators and GPU

  • Omg I wish I had 1 of those I just got te damn sucker pen lol

  • wow... great for fixing mistakes some people make

  • This is ONE QUALITY machince!

  • hell i need one, the soldering pump is a crappy tool, very difficult to suck completly the solder, just a bit it's sucked,

or maybe mine is of bad quality... but this looks much more acurate

  • Woh, magic!

  • I am just learning soldering, and I SUCK at desoldering. I gotta get me one of these :)

  • those things work the best but they are expensive. I got a desoldering pump for $1 off ebay and its crap

  • what model or brand is it like it alot

  • what brand is it or model really like it

  • I have one somewhat like it, and got it at Radio Shack. I love it very much.

  • where might i find one of these

  • Nice. What brand is that desoldering gun?

  • I love my vacuum desoldering machine. It takes a lot of care and feeding, but I can save a circuit board that costs many times that of the machine.

  • Radio shack has them for $10.00. The only difference is the one from Radio shack has a hand pump built into it instead of electric. But it has the electric heater and pump built together so you can remove solder with one hand!

  • i got a hand pumped one for £1

  • - @ mikezyg -

It's no where near the same thing. The one you're talking about has a red bulb on it. When you squeeze the bulb it blows out, release it and it sucks air in.

The only problem that some people have with this is they squeeze the bulb OVER the board they're working on shooting solder all over.

  • @pmgodfrey

that sound horrible; in a humorous way.

  • hi

what is the liquid u have used before desoldering? and what for?

  • That's liquid flux. Not always necessary, but it can help to transfer heat and also reduce the surface tension of solder to help it flow.

  • And it de-oxidises the surface so solder "sticks" to what you want it to. I use normal flux because the pens are too expensive and the flux has been thinned down anyway. How long do they last?

  • do you have to heat the solder up before de-soldering?

  • yes. solder is liquid metal (not always but usually lead, their are led free solders.)

  • oops i meant to say metal. its a liquid when u heat it up.

  • yes that desolderer melts and sucks it up

  • can i use that liquid to solder it back

  • @CuriousInventor are you near a fucking bee hive?

  • thats realy pro dude thats why their expensive but that was owesome dont leave any trace

  • whats the name of the tool were can i find it

  • google soldering station and pick one that has a desoldering tool ... ie what you just watched

they are quite expencive but have variable heat soldering tool, desoldering tool and make your work so much better

  • search for Electric Desoldering Tool, they're less than $30

  • @Gradius0 what? no way. like the one in this video? from where?
