they say best way to make money is hunting lol, wrong, best way is sleep spell, go to a merc whit bastard sword draw ur spell & hi draws his sword then cast sleep spell & hi falls in to sleep & drops his sword, 1 bastard sword is 4000G, & there are lot of guys whit bastard swords, & i u get 1 bastard sword then the same guy will have a new bastard sword later, example if there are 5 guys in down whit bastard sword but not in same place, at the time u get the last guy the first guy has new sword

Go to Varant and ask the nomads to teach you how to fight with two swords. It's really better. Then, you can ask some smith to show you how to sharpen you're weapons. Sharpened weapon is with 10 blade damage more :) And wast thing. You can learn magic only from an Innos or a Beliar statue. The magicions can teach you only to ancient knowlige.

when they try to turn around hit them again and get behind them again.....

@flareman300 The long sword is good for now. It cost's only 2500 gold and it's 75 blade damage. You can make it 85 if you know how to sharp blades :)

If you think the game is easy....Try Hard mode.. ive been playing Hard mode for 2 months now and I still have the 5,000 gold worth armor... i have 30k gold but i need 25% rep for orcs... really fun, i hate when u play easy and finish game the next day

This game at times is overly hard. But my fav thing in situations like this, is to open the console and just spawn a tonne of random paladins, makes for an interesting fight =D

JUst go right through the mountains, that's how i do it, i do not bother doing some stupid stuff - you don't need to cross the pass. There's a secret way behind the biggest rebel camp, i forgot how the hell was it called.

Not only by bow... later in the game (round about lvl 40-50) it's no problem to kill them by sword... i had 800 HP and 400 STR ;-)

birthday42, also, Oblivion doesn't need as much RAM as Gothic III, because it has loading times in-game. Gothic III has no loading times at all in-game, except load/save and preload when you go to the game.

I got the game and it's only 3,5GB. And BTW, it works for me without stuttering and I have only 1,5GB RAM. I use Medium settings and 1024x768.

Lol its so simple..just walk to those trolls and shoot to them with bow or crossbow and simpl kite it..when he will be too close to you simply turn 180 deegrease sprint back and shoot him again when he will walk back i`ve done it in less than 3 minutes

Plus you can use as many strength potions as you like you can have like 4000 health and mana plus instant kill anything with anything even daggers

G3 owns oblivion in so many ways i only play oblivion for its LOTR ( and dragon ) mods. oblivion trolls are tiny compared to the ones in G3. i completed G3 about 7 times befor i got bored with it and in oblivion i completed it at lvl 1 without god mode.

Strangely the combat sucks in this game but it's actually more realistic than Oblivion's.

There are not loud "SWOOOSHS" or "BHHFANK" noises when you hit someone, either a little pop noise when you hit their armor or you hit their flesh and is followed by a grunt.

The fighting in this game is just too calm, okay well in Oblivion the fighting is like two robots were hacking each other. Or is it because the recording is too bad, the voices aren't clear enough? But the fighting is more stylish than in Obli. And they talk too much and fight too less... hehe
